Jaafa: I wrote last week also that Zara betrayed Dr. Numair , her friend, by not telling him the truth. How can Adaleeb’s parents face Numair and his family? What about their izzat now? In my view, all 3 of them, who knew about Andaleeb and Moiz should be arrested and held responsible for attempted suicide of the two kids. But since it is Dr. Numair Depu romance story, they will vindicate the parents and justify the forced marriage.

Things arent as black and white as that: 1- the boy’s mom had no intention going for this girl. 2- deepo and the bf were crossing all limits in the parents eyes. They were meeting at deepo’s home, repeatedly trying to runaway and the boy wasnt disclosing to deepo that his mom had no intention of getting them together. 3- deepo is a spoilt child, through grown up she is acting so irresponsibly she has no feelings of guilt that she is giving her parents a hard time(Its not like the parents didnt give the boys family a chance) 4- the parents should have sorted this matter out and marriage was not a sane solution to this insane situation, especially in such haste

@@areebawaqar3351 You cleared your concerns yourself in your last point. The kids behaved dangerously, that was all the more reason for parents and dr. Zara to act wisely. Being a doctor she should have known how many kids come to hospitals with suicide attempts, depression, anxiety issues due to failed relationships. How could she act so casually and keep the truth from dr. Numair. Same for the parents. They drove them to suicide attempt due to that hurried forced marriage lying to dr. Numair and his family.

She is a newly married girl who is confused by her new husband and his ever changing moods, she is juggling her career and a wierd husband. We have to take in account that she is a cousin at the end of the day and it is not her place to make decisions for andaleeb and her family. Andaleeb is going behind her parents back i am sure had she talked to her parents and not invited her bf to come to her house when everyone is asleep things would have played out differently

Radd: Hiba was laughing in the car when Zain forced her inside. How come no one from director to editor corrected it. Very unprofessional to carelessly let it pass ruining the supposedly intense scene. Then again Arsalan’s expressions of sorrow made me laugh. He actually looked like making funny faces. The scene had no impact till the entry of Sheryaar who changed everything. Seamed everyone except Sheryaar had a non serious attitude due to which a good script suffered.

At this point in time Numair has completely grown over me. He is such a positve, realistic and calm guy. Of course the writing is a bit inconsistent but Usman's acting is on point. You know when you try to settle slightly later in life you become averse to marraige. But he agreed and said, Mujhy pata hai wo khush kaisi lagti hai, shows that he has fallen for her. And he is concerned for Deebu's consent. And now I feel sad for him!!

He is the one who continually stops his sister and mother from approaching Andaleep and her parents for this marriage. When no one else notices Andaleep's distress, he realises she is unhappy and that something is wrong with her. The promos show that he will fall for her, yet he will be a very supportive husband.

Jafa : The episode BELONGED to SEHAR KHAN. Uff, you could feel her pain, i usually dont get emotional at young teenage love stories, BUT I DID THIS TIME ! Very Good acting by Sehar Khan and totally agree with Aamna, that Zara is a poorly written character. If the only person who should have understood Deebu, or COULD have understood Deebu was Zara. She knew both sides of the story well, both going to be bride n groom ki backstory their issues and apprehensions, and shes young educated woman of this era, not from old-fashioned backward generation wali mentality of parents, if there was anyone who should have understood Deebu it should have been Zara. She could have mitigated things between 2 families, Rather she BECAME the REASON for this mishap. Nobody in family is empathising with Deebu, so she gave bad dua to Zara, just venting her pain and frustration to the one closest to her. Zarar Khan acting was also good for his characters age, he was crying like a young boy in love, i really liked him too. People expect him to cry like an adult man which is foolish of the audience. About the phone ringing at night, i lived in a student apartment during my graduate studies days, shared my room with a girl, n if her phone would ring in the middle of the night (esp if it was her boyfriend calling her) i would snap ! LOL

Hassan spent the entire Jafaa section speaking on Zara LOL . His strategy is to bring the focus on Mawra. Bhai ne Sehar ki acting ko few secs mein dismiss kar diya. Aamna said Sehar owned this episode but Hassan was too loud on Mawra's role for her to say anything on Sehar. It was a super strong episode and Sehar carried it. But yeah - dude just dominated the conversation on Zara who barely had 5 mins in the episode. No discussion on what a bad friend Zara was - she never even tells Numair. Zara - who GOT TO CHOOSE her own partner played her role in forcing a marriage on her young cousin. No discussion on how Moiz gaslights Andaleeb and actually has taunted Deebo + provided pills to her . NOTHING ever gets discussed except Loud talk. Weird that he complained about how Sehar was acting like Umeed in the first few episodes and then totally ignored Sehar when her performance moved to serious. Ofcourse she is not a Nepo baby/ Influencer with pretty face with limited acting skills like Durre or Hania but he is so vociferously complimentary about them and their acting even when they act mediocre, Case in point - Zarrar!!! Thankyou Aamna for appreciating Sehar and please don't shy away from giving the credit when due. These last two episodes belonged to Sehar(have been trending on youtube and look at the views)and you rightly said she owned the episode. Your voice is important because actors like Sehar will be bashed mercilessly for a tiny slip but will never be as appreciated for a good performance because they are almost outsiders(no privilege of class and powerful friends). So your voice of appreciation is important. Hassan will spend endless minutes on Mawra's beauty and talent(ofcourse she is amazing) but it was Sehar's time,don't steal her limelight because of your friendship. PS. I would like to disagree with you regarding Zarrar's performance,it was sub par and in front of Sehar,his lack of depth was even more visible. Yes they looked good together for sure.

Unpopular JAFA opinion: Maybe Moiz didn't took pills, thinking about his mother or due to some other justification and Numair thinks something he took pills because it was written in Andleeb's letter. This may change Andleebs interests towards Numair and trust towards Moiz. As in the drama teaser we see her saying to Numair "Uss nay mujhay zindagi mai do hi cheezain de thi, choorian aur golian", showing she felt betrayed by Moiz. Also promos and ost show Andleeb and Numair as a good couple, i think this may lead to their chemistry

What happened to getting justice for his mum and the cruelty his fam inflicted on him? JAFAA: I understand you do not like her but *no* you cannot dismiss THAT performance in 2 sentences. Sehar Khan deserves all the applaud for this episode, it was HER episode. ESPECIALLY because of how people on social media leave no chance to hate her forcefully for whatever reason. Andaleeb WAS supposed to be as chirpy, as loud and occasionally irritating as she was supposed to be because the writer has spun a narrative that Andaleeb who is in a relationship is dumb, immature, wrong and she wants her to be disliked by the majority conservative audience. The conservative audience who for some reason hates happy women anyway. On top of that they changed her age from an FSc student to a BSc final year which was a DISSERVICE to Sehar who had delivered what was asked of her. Because someone straight out of school is COMPLETELY in a different stage of maturity from someone who is in the final year of their bachelors. She has played this role with due diligence, considering how the character has no depth or nuance beyond her relationship with Moiz, she has done all that she could and delivered what the director wanted because I don't think a director like Danish Nawaz would not correct her if she wasn't meeting the standards. Furthermore, as her former costar Hamza Sohail once said, she is a director's actor and I have no reason to believe she didn't deliver what Danish asked of her. Especially in this episode dear lord, the feeling of betrayal, the acceptance of her fate, of someone who is suicidal, totally broken and the rage in the scene with Mawra, you listen to her voice quiver and she becomes considerably more incoherent as the scene progresses because she breaks down with each second. The scene with Zarrar, with his bare minimum expressions you still feel Andaleeb's heart breaking into pieces because of how good Sehar is. I don't know when will this industry and fans give her the due credit that she deserves for doing justice to all that 7th Sky trash she did all these years, for Fairytale where some big media houses failed to credit her even though she carried the show initially before it picked up with the chemistry and now, for Andaleeb. Even you guys dismissed it in 30 seconds, even though she is carrying it since the past two episodes. She deserves the best of projects which enables her to explore, improve and learn.

When he has to simply talk he's fine but gosh when he has to cry or say an emotional or sad dialogue, meri hassi nikal jaati hai uski shakal dekh ke. @abishtaagarwal Andaleep was right when she cursed Zara on her wedding day. Because Zara was the only person capable of stopping this wedding. All she should have done was explain the situation to Numair and ask him to say no to his mother, but she didn't. Numair was already suspicious because of Andaleep's attitude, so it would be so easy to cancel this wedding. But instead of stopping him, she encouraged Numair by telling him what a wonderful wife Andaleep would be. I didn't expect this from Dr. Zara, who is portrayed as a wise and mature young woman.

Hasan is so hyprocrate on seher and mawra in jaffa . In zara's wedding, his focus on how beautiful mawra looks . Not only that even in dinner date after wedding he didn't waste a single time to appreciate mawra . But when it comes to seher he totally ignore her . I personally don't find Zarrar's performance anything amazing. I think he is doing a decent job and I don't have any problem with it but it's not something special. I'm also fine with it because he is new and is not in a lead role right now but he could definitely improve.

In my opinion … in JAFA moiz will not commit suicide and when andaleeb gets to know about him, she will bashed Moiz Completely, after that she’ll come on talking terms with numair and create a solid bond. It’s kinda of strory of the movie HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM. It doesn’t matter whom you fall in love to, who actually keeps it forever ❤ deserves it more. I am pretty sure abt that .. ppl will vouch to see seher and Usman’s chemistry and sure it will be a great watch❤

Jafaa can only be redeemed if Andaleeb's parents go through similar character arc as That of Dadaji in Diyar-e-dil. Earlier Dadaji forced his sons into marriage but later he realised his mistakes tried to stop his son from doing the same mistakes. And later he apologised to Farah, made sure that his granddaughters' consent is seeken. Getting back with Wali was Farah's own decision. Even though Andaleeb is supposed to be with Numair it should happen in a proper way.

Am I the only one who doesn't find Zaraar Khan's acting upto par. When he has to simply talk he's fine but gosh when he has to cry or say an emotional or sad dialogue, meri hassi nikal jaati hai uski shakal dekh ke. His emotional performance doesn't resonate with me at all. Maybe it's because he's acting opposite Seher who is nailing her emotional scenes. He lacks talent, charisma, and expression; in other words, he possesses none of the qualities required to be an actor. Jafaa: The story has some really good elements and an interesting plot, however, I was uncomfortable with Deebu's wishes being ground under the foot of her overbearing parents under the guise of 'parents knowing better'. Very callous handling by the parents of puppy love and not taking into account that these kids are volatile and can be self-destructive. This might be one case (albeit fictional) where later on they'll prove 'parents were right' but in reality how many cases end up successful with the kid not blaming the parents for their wrong decision. It was heartbreaking to see Deebu and Moiz being helpless and unable to find a sympathetic ear. The adults in their life need to take an Adult 101 course as they're failing to make sensible decisions. Btw, I am quite intrigued by Mohib's role and development, if they are able to handle his 'quirks' expertly as the story progresses, I would be really interested in this track and ignore the rest. :P

I dont expect anything good from geo , they literally don't care about anything except making money from their serials . There is absolutely no novelty value , no lesson , just craps gragged to 40 to 60 episodes . Khaie was an exception which they also ruined by gragging it to 30 episodes while only 16 episodes were made . Wonder Abdullah kadwani doesnt do that to his son haroon kadwani dramas jhoom was only 16 episodes which is shoking. I know there was drama "contractors" but you cant justify that by giving one good series in a whole year of crap dramas

Radd: This is exactly the conflict one never wanted to see in Radd. Zain story was over and should have been buried. But Hassan wanted that conflict bwtn the trio . So there you have it 😢😅 It was important for Zain to know the truth, but again, walking that same path of forcing Emaan to come with him or tricking her to meet him, it's all so unnecessary. Zain could've met Emaan by chance, and she could reveal the truth and parted amicably. Radd has a bigger central plot that of Salaar and his childhood, mystery around his mom's death, and how he will eventually inherit everything rightfully, and the wrongdoers will get punished. Can we please have that back in focus and head towards a conclusion. Savera s plot is unnecessarily stretching again. She left, and now they should have legally settled the divorce and custody issue instead. Radd disappointed this week for sure.

See the problem here is Moiz and his actions, the person who couldn't convince his mother is moiz, he didn't fight for his love n instead he blamed deebo for all that n he pushed her towards suicide n it's my feeling that he is no going to commit suicide. So Moiz is definitely a red flag. And yes Zara betrayed her friend, she knows everything but she didn't tell that to Numair nor she tried to admonish deebo. Feeling really bad for Numair because I think he was interested in deebo he likes her and he accepted this marriage sincerely. He is a good guy A green flag.

Jafaa, I agree parents should not have forced marriage of Andaleeb. But she had crossed the limits and she lost the trust of her parents, esp her father who was the main pillar of support. She invited an unknown boy in the middle of night. And then her father caught her trying to run away from her house. How can the father support her then. He also asked her to tell the boy to bring his parents but he is unable to. The whole point of buying time / getting the couple engaged would have been possible had Moiz's mother at least visited Andaleeb's house once. But that nevet happened. Moiz only tries once and then gives up. Why is Andaleeb not questioning Moiz. And then he starts to gaslight her that she would not be able to refuse her marriage. And literally pushes her to her limits. She runs away from the shopping trip with a random guy. How is this acceptable behavior. She has not given her parents one reason to believe her. How do we know moiz is a good guy. He is providing the girl with pills for suicide. He took her on his bike. And in this episode he is insisting to meet her in the room right before her nikkah... Andaleeb keeps emotionally blackmailing Zara's character. Why is it Zara's responsibility to make sure moiz and andaleeb get married. She never asked to be a confidant in this mess. Her only fault is that Numair's family liked Andaleeb at her wedding? And still zara tries to help but Andaleeb's dad tells her he saw both of them alone in the middle of the night. If they are 18- 19 year old kids they should be acting like it. Who can say Moiz will not go to extremes to hurt Andaleeb. How they showed how srha's character was treated by her boyfriend in working women. If marriage to another person is not the solution then letting her stay in relationship with moiz isn't the solution either. They were bunking college to hangout and then again hanging out in the middle of the night after Zara's mehndi and zara already covered up for her. Apologize for the really long comment.
