My daughter and I will be there at Universal/Islands, checking in to Endless Summer Dockside on Black Friday. Just watching this video is getting me overly excited about spending three days at both parks. My daughter is a part-time travel agent and she gets the three day/three park ticket for free for her yearly training. I get mine at half price. Not sure how the weather will be the first of December, whether we will go to Volcano Bay or not. But on Sunday Dec 1st we go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for our first time. But the rest of the trip is a Universal trip. Can't wait! Gotta definitely see the Grinch show and my fav, the Bourne Stuntacular. I love that show. One more thing Jackie, you mentioned Hello Kitty, well, Cheap Trick has a song titled "Elo Kiddies". How cool. Glad you and Sam made it back home safely.

I am so glad they are finally, FINALLY getting the Wicked Movie(s) out! Only been 20 years! I adore the musical - particularly the costume designs are so stunningly detailed. I know the movie costume design is very different but so far it seems like it still feels right. I read the book... honestly not a fan. It's like he had the one big idea of "Glinda the Good Witch went to school with the Wicked Witch!" and then... and then... erm... then... then more stuff happened and we kinda fit in with Wizard of Oz I guess? But the musical, by making the story shorter and much tighter, makes it much more satisfying. In my opinion of course! Wicked is the pinnacle of what a Big Broadway Show can be, it's got everything - great music, strong characters, emotional moments, impressive sets and costumes, all perfectly engineered to create a fantastic theatrical experience!

Thank you for the help and hype! Love all the info you always share! The wicked book is the only book I've ever picked up to read in my life that I quit reading after halfway through. I had already seen the play many times so reading the book you could tell right away. The play and the movie are not based very strongly on the book. They've taken pieces parts out that match the feeling of a different version of wizard of oz.

Getting in to Epic is going to be a challenge for most people for a long time, and if they do get in, it’s going to be jam packed with super long lines. Any advice on how to be Super Enthused about the new parks while being Less Enthused about shoulder-to-shoulder foot traffic and 3 hour wait times for Epic Hot Dogs!? 😅

It's hard to say how it will be, but surely there will be high demand at first. Since we can expect soft openings and previews before opening day, that may help to soften some demand. Either way, people are excited for this and have been waiting a long time!! My advice would be to just temper expectations. I am hoping that the soft openings and previews will help me to explore a lot of the worlds and food and stuff before grand opening, so that on grand opening day, I can just focus on the day itself and not be rushing around trying to do everything. It's hard with people only able to purchase one day tickets for now, but I think that too will soften and expand. But either way, it's about going in mentally prepared for it to be CRAZZZYYYY haha. And for anyone who wants to avoid the craziness, I'd say wait to go until it's been open a few months, let the people who are anxious to go early get it out of their systems and let things calm down a bit. Going on opening day or even opening week, someone just has to know what they're in for. Waiting will avoid that.

Nope, it'll now be 3! One in each park. Each is totally unique though - Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and now the Ministry of Magic. Each has totally different offerings and rides.
