Exactly my thoughts! This is top spec aid climbing advice + amazing quality visuals!

They are excellent. Especially the fact that many even include fall demos. Not something you usually see in other videos about aid climbing. Definitely top notch. I bet the full course they offer on the website is well worth the cost.

4:20 Why do you use an alpine butterfly and not an figure 8 on a bight? And thanks for the amazing animations. Makes everything really clear to understand.
@vdiffclimbing2 жыл бұрын
Good question. You could also use a figure 8 on a bight.

how do you attach the grigri to the rope for ascending back to your high point after a fall if the rope is tight from being weighted?
@vdiffclimbing2 жыл бұрын
1) Attach your jumar to one of your aiders 2) Clip the jumar as high as you can up the rope 3) Stand in your ladders and shorten your daisy 4) This creates enough slack in the rope to attach a GriGri 5) Try not to fall again!
@dejvr7504 Жыл бұрын
@@vdiffclimbing What if the top piece fails while doing this? if you have your daisy clipped into your jumar, wouldn't it strip the sheath of the rope?
