I loved spearfishing when I lived in Hawaii and I love hunting Idaho. I can't wait to go back to Hawaii and hunt. Nice Uhu and Ulua! First person Ive seen eat a christmas wrasse tho. We usually slide them. Great video First Lite!

Congrats on the bull Mark! I grew up surfing and spearfishing on the central CA coast and have followed your career a long time. After moving to the Rockies bowhunting was an easy transition to make from the ocean life for me as well. Glad to see you with the FL guys!

That's freaking amazing!!! I've followed Mark because of his big wave surfing and shark diving in a completely different time and path in my life. And it's so incredible to know about his self sufficiency, and also having Kimmy, who is an amazing hunter and conservationist and so connected to get food as well, is all so mind blowing. Thanks for this guys. It means more than you know.

Glad you liked the film! We feel like it's a unique story in the hunting world; Healey's mindset and how it translates to bow hunting is something we haven't seen in other features. It's pretty cool to have a look into how Mark combats pressure in key moments.

I live in Idaho and just started “hunting” this year. I was talking to another friend who is a hunter the other day and we both agreed that spearfishing is indeed a form of hunting. So in that respect I have been a hunter for many years now because I grew up in Southern California and I would spearfish off Carlsbad all the time. Mark’s outlook on wanting to be involved in the process of the harvest is very much the same way I feel about hunting and fishing. One of my goals in life is to become more involved in the process of providing food for my family beyond the grocery store.
