Imagine this in Horror theme, using Red dye in the water and calling it the Guillotine. That'd be EPIC.

It's a freefall tower with a splash. If I was you I'd put another wall on the backside of the screebn chamber so no one outside would be spoiled.

I lowkey thought it was a top spin with water effects, but by the end I was just left wondering what the hell it's supposed to be.

Some people seem to knock this concept but I reckon Zamperla have something here that would get people to travel internationally to see and ride it. If a park had this and something else like a coaster with a big reputation I'd have more reason to visit To those who feel it's a one trick wonder... That's not a bad thing. Oblivion at Alton Towers for example was the prototype Dive coaster. Yes they built Sheikra and Griffon a short while later and nearly every other Dive coaster has inversions and a longer layout. But there's something very unique and brilliant with Oblivion being simply a vertical drop into a misty hole. The sinister facility theme helps. I've ridden Sheikra and still would prefer Oblivion as it feels more intense. So with that example still being so good among so many more advanced alternatives, I think this drop tower that makes a splash is a fun idea. It will have the same stand-out visual wow as Talocan at Phantasialand or those flat rides with the giant King Kong holding up the gondola.

So is it like a drop tower with a wave pool?
@zamperlarides2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sean! This is not just a drop tower, it's a unique ride! Big Wavez is a “world’s first” family thrill ride that drops a vessel vertically into a special pool of water to create a huge wave and stop the vessel. The wave flies into the air to splash into an area in front of the ride open to non-riders. The wave direction can be changed from cycle to cycle to be directed mainly away from the ride or over the top of riders to drench everyone. In a few words, , the park can decide how wet riders get! And the splash is spectacular!

Concept: Six Flags buys these for the remaining parks that didn’t get the Justice League dark ride, enclose it in a building with a Metropolis facade and have the characters on the screen on the inside, bam, fun family thrill ride. (No water)
@jb73594 жыл бұрын
Zamperla, if you guys could draw this up and show Six Flags executives, I’m sure you guys would be able to sell this idea to them. (station and queue/lower half of the building is the Hall of Justice)

This honestly looks very stupid, it’s so massive and does so little... rather just have a droptower with watersprinklers which will probably get you wetter than this.
@ParasocialCatgirl2 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest taking a look at their video of the prototype model.

@@ParasocialCatgirl The physical prototype does look better than the original animation! Size is still an issue tho, the cart itself is ridiculously big and the capacity is depressing to say the least.

ok is it just me or does this seem like a the biggest waste of 2 million or how ever much it costs.. were do i begin.. its not even tall 65 ft.. thats like a family ride.. the drop.. not even fast... and the splash you dont even GET WET.. you have to if your standing in front of it.. but it looks like they going to have this long run off to ketch the water.. like what is this an obvservation tower but with a water feature... i mean at least do something with this.. biggest waste of an effort .. count your blessing good bye zamperla ...smacks head......

I'd suggest taking a look at the prototype version that they actually made.
@PlatinumEagleStudios Жыл бұрын
"ketch the water" I can tell you're not very smart. Also, the splash can be directed by the ride operator to either go on top of the riders or away from the riders. So the ride operator decides how wet the riders get.

I don't appreciate false advertising. That's what you did by demonstrating that 1960's zyklon roller coaster on your title video cover which you never demonstrated in your video. Instead, you demonstrated some new fangled gizmo continously throughout your video. Disappointing on your part. Shucks!
