They look amazing but the ride experience is more ferris wheel family ride. Super relaxing and you get a view. For something with forces, you’d have to go to a Zamperla air race.

This is one of the most visually appealing rides I've ever seen. It really is a sight, watching all the near-misses. I haven't ridden one yet, but I suspect it would feel similar to the Hexendantz that used to be at the Mall of America. The whole point of the NebulaZ (its visual appeal) is why I can't ever see the ChronoZ taking off ... that whole aspect is lost, so what's the point of the ride? As for the NebulaZ, I'd love to see Knoebels get one of these at some point. Seems like it would be a perfect fit for the park.

I know what ride you're talking about, and I was thinking the same thing! It took me three separate rides, over many years before I stopped screaming in fear. Then they took it out. I miss it, but can't argue with the replacement.

Ridden a few NebulaZ. A local FEC near me, called Fun Fore All, had a ChronoZ for a brief period of time called Sky Twister. It was a maintenance nightmare and didn’t last long.

This thing is great. Rode carowinds this week and it was a ton of fun! They do not run the continuous mode. The load, rotate ,load then cycle

So there actually have been chronoZ sold. Infact, I’ve ridden one of those but I have not ridden a nebulaZ yet. The one I rode was at Fun Fore All in Cranberry, PA (about 20-30 minutes north of Pittsburgh)

Tried the one at adventure dome in vegas a few years ago and i was hooked instantly ive done the one at Hershey Park, Carowinds and the one in Pigeon Forge.

I in fact rode a ChronoZ. One opened at Fun Fore All (FEC) in 2023. It only operated one year for it was not very popular. It was much slower and tamer than the NebulaZ

I would absolutely love to see a ride like this with free swinging ride vehicles. Airtime is cool, but the absolute mayhem and variety a ride like that would provide makes me wonder why it hasn't happened yet.

holy shit i so want one of these somewhere near me, i could just watch it running for an hour quite happily lmao. also i'm always on the lookout for lower-intensity (but not totally boring) rides for family members who can't do anything too intense and this looks great for that

It's still there, but is is on the side with the tickler near the cyclone m, compared to th a rest of the park near the thunder bolt and its sugar

Ive been on the chrono z at butlins skegness. I find it a fairly boring tame ride. It would be more intense if the seats tilted

Kind of like a new take on the good old Zierer Hexentanz ride, just way smaller. While I agree that they are visually appealing with how the arms go past each other, I was kind of disappointed after riding my first one at Carowinds a short while back. I didn't get any airtime at all and the ride was rather boring. Maybe they operate at a reduced speed and the ride can do more - but that was just meh. I am also somewhat skeptical when it comes to the safety of tall riders sitting in a seat next to the arm. If I stretch out my leg in the right way, I can get past the guard and get caught between the arm and the seat when it rotates. Sure, it would need to be done deliberately, but I don't think that's right...
