Welcome young Billy! Welcome to the ultimate inline skating level. I had to build my own, with the help of Pavel at ProskatersPlace, 5 years ago. Mine are the Adapt Hyperskate Zero on 3 - 110mm wheels. I prefer the hardest durometer I can find. They are faster and last longer. With a nice short wheel base they are extremely maneuverable. I believe this is as close to skating on ice that wheels can get... and ultimately that is our goal. I just wish I had figured out how to get a sponsorship! 😜

When the pandemic hit, I was eating like crazy & put over 15 lbs & no exercise but started watching these videos & bought rollerblades on Amazon with 110mm wheels. I almost died 100X with no control, no helmet, no hand guards...I played a lot of pond hockey when young & rollerblading was easy but the skates then were slow & low profile wheels plus I'm over 50 & not skated in 5 years so I tried 3X more & quit...then I had a better idea & tried again with 80mm wheels again from Amazon & now no problems. So much easier & in control.

I thought 3x110mm were about right for city skating, the roads are rough where I am so I felt 4x80s although more agile were slowing me down over cracks and debris and more chance of tripping up. We're all going to fall over though from time to time, even the best.

@BillStoppard4 жыл бұрын
Viewing helmets as a magic safety bubble is very dangerous. On the streets, decisions & skill level greatly reduce the dangers that a plastic shell could not mitigate. I used helmets for years and still advocate for helmets for beginners. I still like to use helmets when in extreme situations, though I hit my head significantly more when wearing one. Just a few things we 'should' wear helmets for: Pole Vaulting Hurdles 100m sprint High diving Parkour Cheerleading Dodgeball Figure Skating Gymnastics Rugby Soccer Baseball (pitcher) MOST IMPORTANTLY -Any time you get in car! That's a lot of 'bad examples' hey?!

Big bearings is what is needed!!. Its stupid why they still doesnt invented. No matter how big the wherls and how they work. Well big wheels do work better. But if they still have small same bearings it cannot be much faster cos they still rolls in small balls inside it. Vehicles with big wheels rely on big bearings. But skate doesnt. So, a big bearings is all that is needed in this century...
