At times you were all skating too close to parked cars, if someone opened a car door, that would be really bad.

Bill, for better power stop you suggest flat frame setting right? Better urban wheels? 80 or 90? Thanks

So you’ve jumped ship from the million dollar Adapt skate to that of the mighty Rollerblade? Well done. Just as I predicted a long time ago… their unhinged solid cuff just doesn’t cut it. Rather they just cut into your shins. This should be a wake up call for them. I’ve always been a supporter of the tried and true Rollerblade brand. Stay low. ❤

Although I should've read the manual, thank you for this video. I didn't realize that these had a micro adjustment on the buckles and I thought that the 45 degree just ran tight for me. Now I know and will adjust my skates accordingly. Dope video.

i need to learn to soul slide. drag stop is ok, but i feel the soul slide is more useful and better for higher speeds.
@BillStoppard6 күн бұрын
It’s useful for downhill bends. In the city it seems completely irrelevant and clunky.
@sultanabran16 күн бұрын
@@BillStoppard really? no good for the city? i thought that it would be a good way to control speed because you're facing the direction you're going and you can get back to skating forward without turning. you'd know better than me.

I love it ! On their website, I see that this frame is recommended for size 43 (EU) and below boots. My Twister XT are size 43-44; will they fit without any issues ?

Mounting will be fine, that's a guideline for the foot size so they don't feel to "unstable" you should be fine.

One thing that baffles me when it comes to rockered skates is how few people rocker the front and leave the back 3 flat. I found that this vastly increases stability and stride power but the raised front allows for the foot to still roll forward through the ball and toes as you push through a stride. The other benefit is that as you shouldn't have too much weight through your heels, with your weight more through the middle and front of the foot you lift the back wheel and that creates a little 3 wheel rocker and so turns and spins are easier than you would think they might be. With all new wheels the differences are more stable and restricted but as the front wheel wears quicker than the rest, the rocker slowly becomes more aggressive and responsive but because it is a slow change, you adapt to it. When it comes to changing wheels, I remove front and rear wheels, replace them with the less worm middle wheels and then 2 new wheels in the middle so between both skates you only change 4 wheels at a time and rotate through them so you get the most wear from every wheel.

Really glad you like your skates... That's the best thing about having so many options, everyone should be able to find something that suits them and don't worry what others think. I personally can't stand the Twister boot, it's far too big and heavy for me and that 'stealth' look is tacky... but that's my opinion. They are very good boots and I don't question that at all. Can't stand Endless Frames either... Nothing really against them other than they tend to run noisy and that I think they are style over substance especially for the money... but everyone jumped on the bandwagon as they did with the term of 'Wizard Skating'... We've been skating like that for decades but apparently it's all Wizard Skating now. Looking forward to the spring when I hope to be able to get my next long term pair of skates although I have no idea what they'll be yet. Keep skating and all the best.

Tested the Nomads in multiple shells, I've left a review on the Loco skates video, in short the toe and midfoot support is outstanding, the sponge on the cuff area is way too soft and doesn't offer any support against the hard shells, i found them to dig in to my ankle area just at the V cut. Have a listen to those frames @5:04 🙉🔔 no exaggeration it actually sounds like you are playing jingle bells with a tambourine 😂 i hope the new Ultra axles help this, if not it's the end for Endless 🥺

lol... Everything about Endless frames has screamed style over substance ever since they came out. They're good frames but they are no better and can be worse than others on the market for far less money. As for noise, it's a good reason I use Bones Reds bearings and clean them a couple of times a year. Low maintenance, long rolling and silent. Fairly cheap too. Others I;ve tried just make too much noise and TwinCams are the worst ever.
