@@DakotaDogProductionsAk83 I’ll start adding raw 360 clips too. That way you can see 100% of what it looks and sounds like 👍 You can view them with your phone by just turning around or swiping or for a deeper experience, try a VR goggle like an Oculus!

hey part of your cross way pipes the 18" one is missing. top left corner of scree while lowering the camera....or the farthest corner on your windy side. if one piece is missing you might want to question the integrity of the rest of that place. thats a lot of weight on those legs

This makes my knees and legs weak...I'm scared of heights. But, certainly a different view from the tower. About 30 or so years ago my brother in law was in the Coast Guard and spent some time out there at Frying Pan doing some underwater welding. He said it was fascinating.

The entire top is a helipad :) and we have a mooring on the East side where a boat can tie up. (or they typically just drop anchor as it's just 50' of water!) Thanks for asking. This is Richard from the Frying Pan Tower btw,

I’ve watched the live stream several times and it’s nice to see the structure and it’s going’s on! I’d love to work on the Tower solo, as I’m sure there is plenty of testing of the sea and aquatic science. I’m guessing! Not very deep. That’s why they put a light on the structure in the 1960s to warn ships. Before we had GPS. There is a great webcam under the structure. It has the word “shark” in it.

heh, it's just a place we're restoring. I'm a normal dirt living person like most other folks. I just come here with other volunteers to help put it back in order and provide a way to do research and save lives of boaters when they're in trouble 32 miles offshore :)

normally true, but these were coated in a specialized marine sealant that has kept them looking new for over 3 years now. Pretty awesome stuff!

Correct! But surprisingly when the waves are really big, say 30' or so, the legs knife right through them and the force is applied over more time than a 12' slapper! Must say, it definitely made me a bit nervous the first time I got caught out there for a hurricane with several 20-30 footers! :0
