The Relativez “The Takeover” was a dope ass album. Wy went off on “My World.” He painted a very vivid picture of life in his neighborhood. He has exceptional story telling skills. Marlon sounded great singing the hook. The production was fye!! Solid album. Thanks for this interview. I don’t believe Wy gets the credit he deserves. High caliber artist IMO.

Dope interview. Rest in peace to Big Wy. Bangin' on Wax and "Eastside-Westside" off the Murder Was The Case soundtrack def made me a fan. Never knew dude was basically a child prodigy when it came to rap. Big Wy def left his stamp on west coast hip hop history. The backstory to that "Teach Me How to Dougie" record he told here was interesting as well. Lol at that last question btw. As someone who had to catch the RTD up and and down Manchester, and up and down Crenshaw Blvd in the '90s, or go school shopping at tge Inglewood Swapmeet, Crenshaw Mafia was unavoidable. Dangerous, but good times in L.A. for us then-youngsters.
