Thanks for posting this!! I grew up about a mile from the BIG O but by the time I got into skating, it had closed.. so I never got to see it in action.. Now I have!!! Rather than destroying the 3/4 pipes, they filled them with a couple feet of concrete to make them unskateable.. Pure torture as a young skate punk.. Would love to see more of this place if you got it.

Are used to go there all the time as a kid I lived right down the street going through the creek bed even when the water park was there man I remember we used to sneak in there when it finally closed and we were using it and when it filled up with water it was pretty scary. Sometimes you couldn’t get out somebody had to throw your road so while I was the man we had some great times there in the wave and then also the BMX track at the YMCA in Orange on my God man so great times now we don’t have any of that gotta go to the skate park far away and I don’t even know where a BMX track is anymore.
