This video is from 2015. BIGBANG are the Kings of Kpop because of their impact in the Kpop music industry. BIGBANG is the first group boy that took part on the production of their albums. Before them, Kpop idols were seen in a different light. Now you can see BIGBANG’s impact in the Kpop industry because a lot of Kpop groups are taking part of their music production. BIGBANG held arena concerts in the USA back in 2013 and 2015. They were able to enter Billboard charts with a full korean album making them the first Kpop group to achieve that without any promotion in the USA. Records are meant to be broken but nobody can’t take the title of Legends from them because their impact is huge. Even as simple as how the production of music videos were done before, BIGBANG even started the trend of high quality music videos. The more you will react to other Kpop groups you will notice that BIGBANG stands on their own and how they have influenced the new generation of Kpop groups. All 5 members make Big Bang but also their Solo artists in their own right. What sets them apart is that they write their own lyrics and melodies and produce their songs.. They not only sing and dance but they also are musicians. K pop stars before them, mimic everyone else. They won song of the year in Korea in 2007, with an original song being, Lies 1 year after their debut and they haven't looked back. They are called Kings of Kpop because they set the bar for everyone else who came after them. Also by 2016 - 10 years after their debut, they were the biggest Asian artists in Asian and the rest of the world. They made the world take notice and paved the way for all other Korean groups like BTS to be taken seriously. They have nothing more to prove. We just love them so much that we hope they make some more new music in the future.
