thanks for the reaction! bigbang birthed kpop as its known today, and i mean it. most of what make a kpop group today has been inspired by bigbang, and especially GDRAGON, the leader of the group and south korea's gem, ambassador, national treasure. i dont know where to begin when it comes to these five amazing, talented and absolutely fantastic kings - they're game changers. they anticipate trends, inspire and have been doing it for almost thirteen years. They're considered kings of kpop, and rightfully so. I think you caught on that too, without even knowing. Thats BIGBANG for you.

A lot of idols look up to Big Bang, especially the leader, G-Dragon. BTS’ Jungkook’s role model is G-Dragon along with many other idols.

Korea have given them the title of Nation's Boygroup and rightfully so, no other Boygroup trends as much or is spoken about as often then BIGBANG. Unfortunately, 4/5 members are currently serving their mandatory 2 year military service (GD, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung) the youngest member Seungri, will be going into the service either at the very end of this year or early next year depending on his activities. In the mean time if you guys are curious to know more about them it's a perfect time to check out their old group stuff and their solo work also as each member is an extremely successful soloist. If you liked Bang Bang Bang, I highly recommend you check out Fantastic Baby, released in 2012. VIP call Bangx3, Fantastic Baby 2.0 lol

Fun facts: 1. Bigbang is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. After that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it. 2. Bigbang is the first one to have official lightstick. G-Dragon designed it. Since then all fandoms followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick. 3. T.O.P is the first underground rapper turned idol in kpop. 4. Bigbang is the first boy group to dye their hair bright unusual colors like pink, blue, neon green, orange. G-Dragon made it trend, starting from blonde there is no color he hasn't tried. 5. Bigbang is the first group that members have solo careers without disbanding. Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. But Bigbang showed them you can have solo career while still being in the group. 6. First kpop artist to collaberate with western artist. G-Dragon's collaboration with Flo Rida back in 2009. 7. First kpop group to win an international award. In 2011, they won MTV EMA. I am a American who switched from being really into American music to dropping it for KPOP. American music does not do as Korean pop. It does not scout for the best talent to be found, it doesn't train that talent like they expect world class performance, it does work them 12 hours a day with no breaks, it does not restrict those under contract to not date. That is some of the reason KPOP has the best music in the world. They are meeting and exceeding records made by the best musicians in the world. They have larger audiences, they sell more records. They are just so incredible. I recommend you look up the KZbin video when CNN interviewed Bigbang. I watched your reaction only because I am a Bigbang fan. Even though BTS is the best in the world (I love them too) Bigbang is my absolutely favorite group. These 5 guys are exceedingly talented. They write and produce their music and each brings their skills to the table to put together their masterpiece MV and music. T.O.P is a art collector and put a lot of his art expertise in the work. Check out his solo, Doom Dada. Amazing! Taeyang has done a couple single albums. His work is dynamite! Check out his 1. Eyes, Nose, Lips & 2. Ringa Linga (both the MV & the martial arts schools doing their martial arts to his song....so awesome), T.O.P & G.Dragon had a album or two. Check out "Zutter". Taeyang and G. Dragon did some hit songs together. Check out "Good Boy". G. Dragon is the leader of Bigbang. He is a fashion expert. He has a great versitality in music. His "Crayon" is a amazing MV! 💥💥💥 "Crooked", "Coup D'Etat", are stunning! Bigbang's "Fantastic Baby" is unforgettable. Can't be beat! Daesung is hugely popular in Japan. He records in Japanese. I have not watched his much but my favorite of his songs iss "Baby Don't Cry". Seungri, the baby of the group has just finished a album. He is currently touring. The other 4 are in the military. Seungri's MV 'Where R U FROM (Feat. MINO)' Is a MV I about died of shock after seeing. The summit between Trump and North Korea's Kim Jung Un were imitated in the MV. Wild, that! 💥💥💥Must see! I have followed KPOP since 2009 so I know it pretty well by now.
