I wouldn't go as far as to say they introduced "vivid colors" in kpop. What about Gee by SNSD? Or Puyo Puyo by Up? There's also Candy by HOT, and plenty more that far preceded Big Bang. Sure they're older vids so the colors are a bit washed out, but kpop has always expressed a lot of colors. The only thing that's changed for MVs between now and then is technology and budget.

Decided to list some of BigBang's notable achivements in the Kpop industry, which just goes to show how impactful they were and still are. 1. Bigbang is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. After that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it. 2. Bigbang is the first one to have official lightstick. G-Dragon designed it. Since then all fandoms followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick. 3. T.O.P is the first underground rapper turned idol in kpop. 4. Bigbang is the first boy group to dye their hair bright unusual colors like pink, blue, neon green, orange. G-Dragon made it trend, starting from blonde there is no color he hasn't tried. 5. Bigbang is the first group that members have solo careers without disbanding. Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. But Bigbang showed them you can have solo career while still being in the group. 6. First kpop artist to collaberate with western artist. G-Dragon's collaboration with Flo Rida back in 2009. 7. First kpop group to win an international award. In 2011, they won MTV EMA. They beat Britney Spears that day. 8. They inroduced the concept of Mini Album to kpop. 9. The first to have rapline. As in multiple rappers in group. Before them rapper in group was just someone who can't sing which is the reason why idol rappers weren't considered true rappers, something we know isn't the case for the most part now atleast. 10. And to this day G-Dragon is still the only soloist from idol groups to win Artist of the Year/Daesang.

nm makanda I am an army too. But before BTS actually came into existence, Big Bang was at its peak. Everyone was just starting to listen to K-Pop and only listened to Big Bang, SHINee. BTS didn't exist at the time. BTS have become legends these guys are unique and insanely talented. But if you ask people who have been listening to K-pop for a long time with which group it all started, then most likely the answer will be Big Bang, SHINee, EXO.
