GD is the greatest of idols. One of the greatest songwriters in K-pop. Fashion genius with her own brand. He invented the lightstick, used by all groups in the industry. K-pop is big today because of him. 🥰

GD did NOT invent the lightstick. 😂 Those were around for decades before he came. You must mean he designed Big Bang's personalized lightstick. Before that, people just used normal light sticks that were literal sticks that lit up in different colors. That then probably kicked off a trend of artists having personalized lightsticks instead of general ones.I don't know the story cause I don't follow Big Bang like that, but I have been into music since before Big Bang and there were light sticks.

@@melodramatic7904 yep just like you said ! But half right and half wrong. he didn’t invite the light sticks but he designed the first personalized logo sticks meant for idols groups. Before that all the stick all look similar in shapes and have color but it was made as general use not for idols or groups. Decades ago iin kpop those light stick was brought to kpop concerts was not meant for idols. It was general use and agencies did not made money out of it. It was those general light sticks along with poster and ballons used decades ago. The custom idol stick you see now is basically the idea of g dragon himself then other agencies started to personalize their artist person sticks. So even though he didn’t invented the general light stick he did invent the idea of a group personalized idol stick that influenced the market and other followed along

@melodramatic7904.. I have to disagree, GDRAGON deserves all the credit for personalized lightsticks... As someone said your statement is half true and half false.. The so called lightstick used in kpop is not the same as the colored lightsticks that we all know and used since decades in concerts(sticks, bracelets, necklaces are way different) ... Also if you weren't in kpop around second gen kpop you might not know that GD/BIGBANG created their own personalized lightsticks thinking in saving their fans from other struggles (most of their fans were middle and high schoolers) to spending money also in balloons to cheer them up(BIGBANG concert tickets were already expensive)..once BIGBANG lightsticks were around it took years for other labels made the lightsticks for their own groups due the heavy competition between labels(YGE before BIGBANG debut used to be a little underground hiphop/rnb label... just saying that at the time BIGBANG debut SME was already the biggest one and the one all labels looked after and despite that SME was forced to create their own just because SME idols fans started to buy BIGBANG lightstick and bring it to SM idols show performances cuz having a lightstick was cheaper than buy balloons everytime to cheer up your favorite group, it's hilarious 😆... Let's say YG made money with fans from other groups🤭.. And that's how personalized lightsticks born and became a trend...GD deserves all the praise😁

I dont usually comment on reactors since im so traumatize of some of the past reactors that reacted to Bigbang. But what i want to say is that with Bigbang they are really unique in KPop. They dont have a distinct genre that u will hear but u can say they are the GENRE THEMSELVES 👑 They are not afraid to try other genres and at the same time be an anti thesis of the usual cookie cutter KPop Groups. When u close ur eyes and hear their song, you can distintcly single out who’s who is singing. That’s how unique their voices are, also in their live performances you can be assured that they are the monster in Live Singing & Performing. 6:03 it's Daesung. About Haru Haru: You are right! In the story she is sick so she ended her relationship with GD and pretended to date TOP. That's why they had a fight in the beginning. They all knew she was sick and no one told him till Taeyeang called him b4 her surgery and spiled it all. 😢

I love thing song, but I always hated the story in this video. Like, if this really happened, GD's character would forever live his life with regret because he spent his last moments with her fighting and saying horrible things instead of cherishing her and that would be all because of her lies. I've seen this storyline a lot in K-dramas and I never understood why the characters would think this would be easier on the SO.

It would be impossible for GD's character living his life without regret after finding out the truth but the intention of the girl was he would never know why she really left him and move on maybe with someone else😔.. Actually I understand the girl intentions after I watched a Japanese drama where the main male did the same, despite the girl loved him so much she moved on in another relationship thinking the guy she was in love before was a jerk. she almost got married with her new lover till she found out the guy she was previously in love(she still loved him) was deadly sick so she left her fiance and spent time with her first lover till he died🤧.. the thing in this mv is if he never knew she was sick at some point he would have been happy with a knew lover and this is exactly what the GD's girl wanted for him...also something I noticed by watching dramas is they(Koreans) believe is selfish from a sick person to rely on his/her lover specifically if they are dating, I think they believe is better to save the other person from the pain to see the lover dying slowly everyday.. Personally I don't have a good answer for this kind of situations cuz the suffering is always there no matter what. being abandoned whether break up or death is always painful anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you watch their live performances you will see their great band The Band Six who played with them in most of their concerts. During their hiatus the band continued with Blackpink (I think but not sure). Guitarist is Justin. GD - producer, composer ( first idol to make his own music and be registered in KOMCA), leader, rapper, singer. They can all dance but chose to not dance and just sing to be closer to their fans while on the stage. It’s official, his solo comeback will be 2nd half of this year, album, world tour and a concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas. I’m gonna try my hardest to make it there. T.O.P - Rapper, actor (Squid Games 2 is his next project), will be the first Korean astronaut #dearMoon project, artist and art collector. His famous song Doom Da Da is also a must see MV first before you watch his live performance. Dorian Gray can explain the meaning behind the mv, it is very artistic, a masterpiece. Please get to know T. O.P by listening to this song. He is the first underground rapper to become an idol and the first with a deep voice. Officially left BIGBANG this year. Taeyang - vocalist, pianist. Taeyang was known worldwide before BIGBANG. You already watched some of his videos, thank you for that. Daesung - power voice, drummer, he is huge in Japan. Just came back from hiatus. Seungri - angelic voice but retired. He is in every song except their last release end of 2022 Still Life.

Blackpink sang Loser when they first debuted at a radio station. It’s a classic. 🔥 My fave is their live Mama performance in 2015 where they sang Loser, Bae Bae & Bang bang bang as well as GD & Taeyang 2014 Mama live performance “Good boy & Fantastic Baby”.

Loser is one of the most deepest songs in K-Pop. And BIGBANG makes all of their music themselves and every member kind of shares their own story. The first guy, G-Dragon (who's walking alone on the road), talks about the harsh reality of being a celebrity. He talks about being alone, even though he has everything one could ask for and he feels like no one actually cares for him, other than his celebrity. The second guy, Taeyang (with the red jacket), has faith issues in his life. He talks about finding meaning and purpose and some help in his life ("| extend my hand but no one grabs it"). In the end, he loses his battle with religion and commits suicide, by jumping off the building. The third guy, Seungri (the one with the blonde hair), desperately likes a girl (either it's his ex or someone he knew), but she completely ignores him while he sees her walking with another guy. He lashes out in anger and frustration, throwing and breaking stuff in his home. In the end, he confronts the girl, but she rejects him completely. The fourth guy, T.O.P (the one having an affair with the woman) is shown to be a womanizer and is obsessed by his materialistic possessions. He views women only as a source of pleasure ("love them for one night... ") and hates himself for this addiction. When the woman starts to touch his precious possessions, he loses control and then starts to hurt her. He is then shown walking alone in an alley covered in dry blood (he killed her). In the end, he realizes what he's actually done and he falls to the ground with remorse. The fifth guy, Daesung (the one getting his ass beaten) is shown to be someone who's bullied alot, to the point where his confidence has completely shattered and he's even scared of showing his eyes to people. He is shown standing in front of the mirror and crying and feeling pathetic. In the end, he tries to confront the bullies as a last attempt to stand up for himself, but gets beaten yet again and is dragged and left for good on the road. So many people relate to this song in their own ways and that's what makes this piece so special.

Their solo are so differnt from the grp music. Each individual have their own genre.. I've learned about your channel through your BINI videos but I didn't know you also had videos with Bigbang! I am currently bingeing Bigbang content since they just did an unplanned mini reunion in Taeyang's concert. Man, these guys used to be so popular back then in the Philippines. I remember when some of my schoolmates would blast their song and other students would start dancing! I also remember me and other guys trying to copy some of their fits lmao. Even though I hate one of the members now, hearing their music puts me in a trip down the memory lane. This group was truly special and no K-pop group has come close to the level of their live performances. I know its already mentioned a lot in the comments but these guys were truly different.
