I watched the original Secret Garden only after watching Bigbang's parody just to understand some of the parts which were not clear. I can't believe they managed to get Hyun Bin's actual sparkly blue jacket! The other funny one is Coffee Prince!

No, G-Dragon doesn't always play the girl but T.O.P always plays the male lead. Seungri was the girl in "Big Bang Virus" a parody of "Beethoven Virus" and Daesung was the girl in "Big Bang Over Flowers."

I have watched the original shows (Secret Garden and Coffee Prince) and the parodies are just hilarious. I think as to this one the only few pieces that would make more sense is that GD's character has a crush on Sungri's character and has his picture on his/her socks, that is why kissed the sock. You may have missed a few jokes by not watching the show but Bigbang is so funny it doesn't matter. I don't love the body switching in Secret Garden but the show is good (GD's character is a stunt woman in the drama not a back up dancer). I watch Coffee Prince over and over cause well Gong Yoo, even though that show is from like 2012 or something. At this point I do think T.O.P has kissed all of his fellow members
