I don't know the dynamics of BB, but I know the dynamics of the Dire Straits and your comment made me think of the morons that claims that somehow Pick Withers (drums) and David Knopfler (rhythm guitar) was "the heart and soul" of DS (early DS) and not the genius Mark Knopfler- the man who actually wrote all of the songs, played the kick ass world beating lead guitar riffs and did the vocals. Are you for whatever reason just a Øystein hater, or are your assessment genuine? I'm asking because I want to learn, I'm not here to pick a fight.
