Looking at this video makes you think his house is raided and life ripped to shreds but I bet anything that the Dr who prescribed those pills to your daughter didn’t miss a beat nor did the pharmaceutical company who probably bribed said Dr to up his prescription count even to patients who probably didn’t need that strength of pain meds nor did the people at the FDA who falsely approved the certification of that drug who bribed and with a nice cushy 7-8 figure job at the same pharmaceutical company in question the whole shit is a racket and profit is king at the expense of peoples lives it’s truly sickening but the people the everyday tax paying law abiding citizens continue to let it all happen

The doctor didn’t make her addicted. She took those oxy wrong if she got ADDICTED. And now the medical community has decided that folks with legitimate pain can’t even access them. I had a famous neurologist care for my chronic migraines. He gave me 90 Percocet 2 1./2 years ago when he was recruited to start a headache clinic at BROWN. He was recruited by BROWN B/C he’s an amazing doc. Since he has left, my new neurologist can’t give me oxy, “b/c we don’t have a system set up”. She’s in a frickin Hospital! She knows my Brown neurologist. I only needed a drug test a couple times a year and sign a paper that says it’s very addicting. I don’t have an addictive personality so I should have access. BUT NO….i need to jump through MORE F’’’N HOOPS than I do for a PA medical Marijuana card. I’VE even been hospitalized twice for NO REASON EXCEPT I WAS in horrific pain with a BP of 200/100 B/c I was trying to save the oxy. Last week I was at my PCP office and there was a woman complaining about the same thing. WHY SHOULD NON ADDICTS JUMP THROUGH HOOPS B/C WE DID NOTHING ILLEGAL? B/C OF GIRLS LIKE YOU”RE DAUGHTER, MILLIONS OF AMERICANS ARE SUFFERING!!!!!!!! HERE ARE THE REAL FACTS! THE DOCTOR DID NOT MAKE YOUR DAUGHTER ADDICTED….SHE ADDICTED HERSELF!!!!!!! A HIGH OF 12% ADDICTION RATE IS LESS THAN THOSE ADDICTED TO VERY DANGEROUS DRUGS SUCH AS TYLENOL OR SUDAFED. I’VE GOTTA SIGN TO PURCHASE SUDAFED FOR MY COLD B/C MORONS SNIFF IT?????? NOT MY FAULT YOUR DAUGHTER GOT ADDICTED. BUT ADDICTS ARE MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR EVERYONE, WHEN IT’S NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!! SHE MADE MY PAIN NOT BE TREATED SUFFICIENTLY SO I ENDED UP HOSPITALIZED. And you know even with insurance The hospital cost me $$$$$. the study calculated average rates of misuse to be between 21% and 29%, and rates of addiction between 8% and 12%. AN OLDER STUDY SAID 15% ADDICTION RATE. Rate of addiction 8-12% of people and the rest of us need to suffer b/c of your daughter. I have no sympathy for addicts. I’m a nurse who worked in the inner city of phila. I saw it all…..I also saw it in jail and prisons. I saw it in a long term care facility. I’M SO OVER ADDICTS BEING CODDLED. I’m not sorry to be mean when I’ve experienced coke addicts running at he so friggin high. babies born addicted to coke when I worked in the nurseries. And guess what. Methadone is more addicting than heroin yet methadone is legal. It’s the same as cocaine!!!! Why is that ok for addicts??? THE MEDICAL system just addicts them to methadone! METHADONE WAS THE WORST WITHDRAWAL I EVER SAW IN A BABY. The kid screamed, vomited, perspired and shit everywhere for days on end. The high pitch Ed Cory was 8intgolerable. The poor baby was in the nursery for about 2 weeks before it was taken in by the Amish. I live not far from Lancaster PA where there is an Amish community. Don’t blame the medical community for your daughter’s addiction. She addicted herself!!!!

It's so sad. The Nerve Stimulator has to do with chronic pain. He somehow was injured and got addicted to pain medication. Too bad there is no better way for police to arrest someone than to destroy the whole family. Every one of them has been affected by his addiction. It's heartbreaking. We need better access to rehabilitation not only for the addict but for family members as well. They will all be impacted by PTSD. It's so sad for everyone who deals with this in our country. But most abandoned places I've seen you film are amazing to watch and hit me deeply. Most places are abandoned for some sort of trauma, financial or otherwise, and lack of family connections. Thank you for the care you take in observing other lives.

I was a caregiver and have no clue about the backstory about him being a drug dealer. I see a house with tens units and pain meds to treat chronic pain. Many people keep the bottles and each meds prescribed is two weeks at a time. I have seen people who can only sleep an hour or two at a time because of pain never judge. You know how many pills were prescribed and over what time, by looking, the number of bottles says nothing.

The problem also is sometimes these homes go to the banks, and banks don't want to sell or let them go. Because they think it would be too expensive to have them fixed up so they just rot until the bank can sell the property. Idk how many houses in our state were foreclosed and are owned by banks who are just letting them sit there and rot to the ground so they don't have to pay to have it demolished. If only we could have a law, stating after a few years being held they would have to donate the houses to communities in need/to people willing to fix it up for people in need/sell it for cheap or default on owning it or SOMETHING.

Nerve stimulator in general is called a TENS unit. It would make sense if he had an injury and had to go to a pain clinic for pain meds. This is probably how his addiction started. With low level pain pills like hydrocodone that lead to oxycodone and then fentanyl patches. The TENS unit is used to stimulate nerves to reduce or eliminate pain. Was probably given to him to help the pain and help him take less pain meds but by that time I’m sure he was pretty far into his addiction. I pray the family and he are ok and that he is on his way to recovery and that not too much trauma can be remembered by the children. God bless this whole family.

I go to a pain clinic for chronic pain from multiple titanium plates, rods and screws used to repair multiple fractures from an MVA back in 2008. I go every month for a pill count, drug test and to have any CT scans or x-rays to monitor my condition. I've rarely taken the full dose prescribed to me everyday and I always have over my pill count at my appointment, so they just adjust how many they prescribe me each month based on how many I already have. I've never ran out of my meds before my refill date and I've been on the same dose since I first started going in 2011. My body is "dependent" on the medication, but I'm not "addicted" b/c I'm not taking over my dose and then going out and buying more or trying to get my dr to increase my dose. I wouldn't be able to take care of everything I do while my husband is gone for work 6-9 months at a time if I didn't have the pain medication helping me to take the edge off, b/c I'm still in constant pain even with medication. I just refuse to let myself become addicted or any more dependent that I already am. I also have neuropathy from my Type 1 diabetes, which makes the pain way worse, but I decreased my dose of gabapentin from 2700 mg a day to 1800 mg a day, after taking that high dose for 15 years. But I do feel sorry for people who become addicted to anything, whether it's drugs, alcohol or even nicotine.

I tried TENS with no success. With Fibromyalgia, only Lyrica works. I have been through the same routine, and will be having my tenth spinal surgery in May. Getting off the double Oxys ( I had both at the same time ) was easy. After my ninth back surgery, I just stopped because the debilitating pain had abated. I now supplement my Tylenol X with legal gummies. My state doesn’t allow the real ones because we have a red legislature, but our blue Gov wants medical marijuana. It would really help me. The challenges of incessant pain are no fun, but next month I will become a Perfect 10! In retrospect, all of my back surgeries have been easy, even the fusions, laminectomies, diskectomies, and the one for spinal stenosis. It’s the waiting for something to be done that is the worst, but you know that. I, too, take and took less medication than prescribed, but it took forever to get the combo of meds to work. I needed the gummies to manage the pain, however, and am doing better. Do you have Fibromyalgia?

I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.

Between the nerve stimulator, the fentynal patches and also the glucometer, someone living there was sick and in a lot of pain. Fentynal patches for chronic pain are very common for cancer patients and also chronic nerve pain. It’s not the powder you are thinking of coming across the boarder that’s killing people.

Wow, if they are going to charge him with the drugs you would think the police would have taken the bottles as evidence, along with the fentanyl upstairs. Too dangerous to leave lying in the house. Is the rubble piles in the home because of the devices the police threw in or decay of the home. All of those clothes are going to waste when homeless people could benefit from them. I really enjoyed this video.

@amanda they only have so much room in evidence storage... if the bottles were empty more likely they would just collect a few and take photos of the rest 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also often times some evidence is left behind as they only need to get what they need for conviction - depends how thorough the police doing the work are... many are lazy and just grab the minimum 🤷🏼‍♀️

Now it looks like people are just speculating. You said you found the indictment papers for him but you never said they indicated that he was a drug dealer. If you look really close in the upper right hand corner there are labels on those boxes that look like prescription of some sort. Drug dealers don't usually leave stuff like that lane around and if it was evidence it would have been. Maybe a little investigating into that product whatever it is would be better than just kind of speculating.

Wooden closest are usually made out of cedar and called Cedar closest. The Cedar acts as a natural dehumidifier by removing moisture from the air, thus keeping your clothes free of mildew. Most new larger custom homes have them & even some smaller homes as well. I had did Cable & owned a cable company for 15 years & saw many cedar closests in all types of homes. Those plastic zip up things in the closet are just portable po up closets that fully protect your clothes from all elements. My mom has many in her basement bc she’s filled her master closet, my childhood closet, & my brothers childhood closet with all her clothes…haha, she has a problem.

The cedar closets…my mamas house caught on fire 16 months ago. The fire was contained to my childhood bedroom only. But smoke and water damage throughout. The house had to be totally gutted and all of her belongings removed and cleaned or what could be saved. She is 79 and just got back moved into her new old house this week just in time for Christmas. About the cedar closets, my room, I lost everything except some things in my closest were saved! Like my Barbie’s were in an old suitcase in the back of cedar closet. I got my Barbie’s back and a few more things. Had it if not been cedar, my closet would of looked like my bedroom. Also my room backed up against my mamas wall in cedar closet. Nothing in her closet was damaged at all and the fire was right at that wall. The cedar saved her closet. It’s just material things and it seems silly I was so upset about losing most of my childhood treasures, my awards from school, everything. But I’m so thankful for that cedar closet for giving a little extra protection to a few of my prized possessions

The pain management meds unfortunately seems to have led to an addiction that resulted in the downfall. Such a sad situation for all involved. I'm currently on my 3rd round of fighting cancer. I have several medical, pain and now mobility issues. I used to do pain management clinic. Thankfully, I have gotten away from them and the pain meds. I just couldn't do it again no matter how much pain I have, won't go through that again. I'm truly amazed that the police were involved and failed to seize all the medications and bottles! Thank you for sharing this. Stay safe and God Bless!

Unfortunately doctors prescribed medications for uses they weren’t meant for 🤷🏼‍♀️ Pharma companies clearly outlined the serious pain meds were for short term (eg right after surgery) use only, NOT long term (like chronic pain) due to likelihood of addiction ... so ppl of course got addicted... while there are some cases where it’s impossible to fix the underlying condition causing pain, many could be treated by treating the underlying condition ... but that’s just like so much harder than handing someone some drugs that numb the symptoms (eg removing a tumor vs writing a pain pill prescription- big work load difference)... too many doctors treat the symptoms vs the cause, so many never get better bc the underlying cause is never treated🤷🏼‍♀️

Everyone in that family, including their beloved pets, went through an intense, scary, loud and life changing experoience that fateful day, and lost their entire life as they knew it, in that moment, forever. A drug addiction and the consequences of it took everything from them. I feel for the children, and also the dogs. Hello, Sir. First of all I love your show. The one about the parents of a pilot who lived in a house where he crashed his plane and died took me back to my childhood in my parents' home in the sixties... Nice. You are truly a gentleman for saving that poor little mouse in the shower. You show sensitivity towards animals and children that show true strength of character. It's truly heartbreaking that these lovely things of our past are left to waste away. In 2016, all of my belongings were put in a storage unit, and due to my age (67) and financial situation, I've yet to acquire an apartment in which to enjoy them again. I'd like to think if I never get them back, someone as compassionate as yourself can go through them one day and pass them on to others who would value them as much as I have... these are moments in our lives that create our world around us. I rent a bedroom in a house, but have faith that some day I'll get my own, little place again. Best of luck with your program, my friend... I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future 🕊️.

My husband used to do drug forfeitures for Dallas county. He was a District Attorney for 14 years there in the Book Depository building when the county used it. When a house is raided the belongings that can be sold off for money go to the county and the drug task force. Everything that the person who is raided looses everything, unless it's not in his name, but usually they have ways to gain the profit off the raid. That's the law. So, cars, jewelery, homes, bank accounts etc get forfeited.

And the opioid epidemic is hurting one’s who have legit medical diagnosis and require meds to have quality of life it’s sad cause now doctors are scared to prescribe to their patients and pts are suffering .

The Medtronic equipment is not for diabetes it is for people with chronic pain. It is probably used with a pain pump as the remote. And fentanyl at one time was one of the last resorts for pain. If you do a little bit of research into some of these things you may find out a little bit of a different story besides someone being a drug dealer which I am not for against in any way. I would think pain does a lot of things for a lot of different people. A poor situation for children.

That electrical nerve stimulator or "TENS machine" is used for people who have nerve damage and pain. It has conductive pads that you apply to the affected area and then the machine will send an electrical impulse (you control the severity and frequency) to the pads and zaps the area. Its supposed to help de-sensitize nerves and problem areas for pain. I used it for a period of time on my ankle with little to no results.

I guess now we have to say PRIMARY BEDROOM, not MASTER Bedroom. My realtor told me this news.

I love that you saved the mouse.. Being an animal lover myself I would of done same.. Now what I get from this is man was in a lot of pain.. Maybe incurable cancer that riddled his body.. All the pills, fentinal and tens unit all for extreme pain.. Plus the alcohol to numb pain.. Severe pain can make you do crazy things.. Mixing meds can also make you do crazy things..Why the domestic dispute and him probably holding the family hostage or himself after the wife and child left..He barricaded himself in the house and reason for stand off..He also probably had other things wrong with him and why so many pill bottles..If you search his address you can find out so much more..
