I just saw the whole video. I am convinced the house was lived by someone else after the person you named. The bidets are essential for Muslims. And a few were removed. A few toilets were brand new (flush level on top). The battery on the heating control was still working. The house is a different color from when they lived there. Looks like someone else may be keeping or trying to keep up with the property.

I actually really enjoyed this video. The house is gorgeous, I love the marble bathroom with that increible view outside, and the materials and architecture. The "THING" beside the toilet is a bidet. It is a wonderful addition to any bathroom, in certain European countries you have those, my parents' house had one, so I grew up fresh and clean - you just jump on it and sit down and wash your privates after using the toilet and paper. Trust me, it's awesome, there is a water jet in it, and you can use soap or some other cleansing agent. In the GUEST house, the weird thing on the floor in the pantry I believe is where the water heater would go. Beautiful home, location is spectacular, I'd love to have it.

Fantastic exploring guys.. just to answer a few questions you have.. The closets .. some made of cedar wood and some more cedar chip board. They both serve the same purpose cedar is a non-molding wood and bathrooms closets saunas all use them so that the smell of the cedar would permeate into the clothing and there would never be a smell of mold. … I’m actually surprised there isn’t a prayer room in there with Middle Eastern prayer room influences which may be what the large converted room in the garage area was used for… I remember the US State department allowing the Bin Laden Family members to fly in 2001… friends of GW Bush.. Saudi Royalty.. etc.

You don't read all the comments??????? Some commenting had their weddings there. Bought by Bin Laden family in 80s they ran away after the 2001 Twin Towers bombings because they made a fake video to blame him his own extended family. They always act that way when one of them is so rich and doing well in USA his genealogy. They ran away one of his family living there that year 2001. After that it was leased out and used for weddings the reason you see it looks less damaged. There is a caretaker looking after it.

If nobody has mentioned; the tub in the small room off the kitchen at 42:30 is something that you would put a water heater into. It sits in the tub and the tub catches any condensation. Also if it ever leaked the tub would hopefully catch the water and the pipes would direct it towards a drain or someplace better than onto the floor beneath it. That's all it is. Looks like a little pantry off the kitchen and a water heater was in there.

The really expensive older homes had the prep sink and grill cooking area as well as the conventional stove and sink. Not unusual really cool if you are really into cooking but highly coveted. This is an amazing house but needs a lot of repairs to bring it back to it's former gorgeous beauty. The sinks are not red, they are rust color or red brick to match the brick. The great smell in the bedrooms are the all cedar lined closets which cost a fortune. The wrought iron faux turrets ourside the bedrooms are only their for the outer aes·thet·ics to add to the outside beauty of the home.
