This 70's home is gorgeous... As a 70's baby I love it and it tugs at my heart! I also wanna say thank you for being so thorough when your filming, I love that you even show us the closets! This place would've been my dream home back before succumbing to the elements and being abandoned... So amazing!

There is something so sad about these empty houses.
@NicoliRavioli1177 ай бұрын
Very sad. I just picture all the family members that could have laughed, cried, loved, & essentially lived inside. How they’d all be making meals together in that huge kitchen. Summer barbecues out by the pool. Then what happened to cause them to leave their dream home. Because it’s pretty obvious someone put a lot of thought into building the place. I also imagine what it would’ve looked like in its heyday. Then comparing it to what it looks like now, it just seems the house itself is weeping. May sound silly to some, but I get so many thoughts and feelings when I watch these videos.

Holy cow 😮, This house appears to have been abandoned for many decades. I imagine the glory days that this old house lived in, it's sad to see an abandoned house, it's sadder to think about the people who lived there, where did they end up?

One of the stranger layouts I've seen on your channel. Definitely a MAJOR project for someone if they wanted to salvage it. Not sure if it would be worth the time and effort, but this is why I love your channel, you show a huge variety to ensure there is something for everyone to appreciate.

A company I worked for back in '07 did some work here. Real nice old man. I always thought he was a big shot lawyer back in the day. He had that persona. I imagine he has passed by now, he was probably in his mid, late 80s then. It'll probably be torn down, cleared out and tract houses put in it's place.

It was once a beautiful home, I really like it. Idk why I love that last bathroom so much (brown with lighter flecks and a brown toilet with light wooden seat and lid) but I love it. I love all the skylights too, along with the stone flooring, fireplace, and big windows. The Elvis Presley black and white "jailhouse rock" checkered tile and the blue paint around the kitchen I didn't care for so much but the white in the rest of it was nice. The pool looks like its filled with black coffee (to go with the Covid-30 😂).The plush carpeting is classic 70's. It's sad to see it rotting away. How long has this one been abandoned?

My best friend’s parents built a massive house in the mid eighties that had a toaster like that one. A can opener was also built into the wall not far from the toaster. The wet bar, that was bigger than an average home’s kitchen, had dual blenders built in next to the sink. Her parents traveled a lot and we had some massive parties in that house. Kinda like Jake’s house in Sixteen Candles… Her parents never had a clue.

The house featured in the video reminded me a lot of my our house that my parents bought in 1982 for $145K. Obviously, a much smaller home. However it had a very similar stone fireplace with 30 foot vaulted ceilings. Very contemporary & open concept. Thee was a large wooden deck with a huge jacuzzi built in and the majority of yard beyond the deck was left natural like a forest. Directly across the street from our front door was Lake Arlington. I really hope the home in the video isn’t demolished. I can see so much potential in it. Albeit 30 years late….

Amazing original appliances, fixtures, intercom system. Crazy how the birds decided to take over the place! I don’t care for the heavily shingled volumetric look of the exterior but the interior is adventuresome. It looks like it has two kitchens next to each other. The first one was smaller…had the double ovens, a microwave, the Jenn-Airs stovetop that had 2 burners on the left and the griddle on top of burners on the right, a small single bowl sink over by itself, (can’t remember if there was a refrigerator in that section or if there was another bigger kitchen sink)…then opened up into the giant kitchen with the big island, the double refrigerators, wall oven, built in microwave above the oven, the built in toaster, there was a massive stovetop that appeared to have at least 6 burners and griddle (he didn’t go over next to it), and a massive sink.
