BigBeatsInc808 I bought the same exact set up as yours. At first (a couple days ago), the bass was good for the break in period. But now that I got around 16 hours nonstop break in, I set the gains and HU as directed from SQ website and the bass is not as expected. The volume is not loud at all. Kind of disapointed to be honest.

I'm totally sold on Soundqubed. I have an S1-1250 running two Rockford P3's, and it gives them some nice healthy juice. Great setup. I bought mine back when it was still $180 before they increased it to $250 but I would still buy it at that price. I'm definitely gonna be looking at Soundqubed for my future amp needs including a 4 channel to my doors.

I was impressed with it. I owned a shark 3500 amp last year when they were brand new for 200 and I thought they were a hell of a deal!!!! They have since went up in price but at the time it was a great budget amp. I was blown away by the performance of it. Everyone else still hares on them but I really liked it.

Been using a Rockville db14 on my 2 (12s) in truck, but thinking the soundqubed si1250 might be perfect for my needs. Yesterday bought a s1-1250 to use for the dual 12 inch infinity kappa 1200w subs. Should be perfect, they are 500 rms each. Deals now on car audio is crazy, I got the Kappa 1200w for $96 each new on Amazon and the soundqubed 1250 is $149 on their website with free shipping. They also shipped super fast, ordered Tue will be here Sat, tracking shows. Hopefully this 1250 doesn't draw alot of current. Have a 180 Amp alt, but current db14 I am running barely makes lights flicker at full output. So doing the big 3 at sane time.

I like that you can strap it to another amp. I'm running the Orion XTR 2500.1dz and I thought this was best bang per buck out there and around $100 more but this soundqubed with the clip detector and strapable is pretty nice. Might buy one jus to have... Or 2...😉 🔊🙉😁

wolfram is the best deal its the cheapest and comes with a clip light in the bass knob but its never in stock. xtr is also a good choice since its rated at 12v and does alot more at 14.4v id pick the xtr since i dont mess with the bass knob

Pioneer, Kenwood and Sony are all pretty spot on with their RMS ratings in the manuals. They do grossly abuse max ratings on their packaging though which gives them the appearance of being dishonest but if you check the RMS specifications they are honest. Pyle, Pyramid, Lanzar, Boss, Planet Audio, SSL, Rockwood, Brand X are a few of the brands that will flat out lie on their RMS ratings to the extreme and in some cases add dummy fuses or oversized heat sinks to make the amp appear more powerful. But yeah, if the Pioneer 8601 claims to make 800 watts RMS into 1 ohm then you can expect it to make 800 watts RMS into 1 ohm, some variance is to be expected due to operating voltage and manufacturing tolerances of the components but it should only amount to a few percent.

Thank you for the videos. My question is, how is the sound quality affected by each amp? For example, take both the amps and hook them up to the same sub and which amp will perform better and sound better? Now compare the power and sound quality from these amps to a name brand such as JL Audio and Rockford Fosgate, of the same power rating and how do they stack up? I love big power from amps, but I’m more impressed by sound quality and overall durability of an amp.

look for the damping factor. if the amp has less than 150 it wil not control the sub well. jl, alpine, audiocontrol have damping factors of 300+ and if you look at their boards it has alot of filter caps compare to the bargain brand/models. also note that they rate the damping factor @ 4ohms cuz if you wire the amp at low ohm loads like 1 ohm, you lose some control. thats why the w7 is 3ohms instead of a dual 2ohms. it keeps it keeps the damping factor high. hope this helps

clipping light and strapping is definitely hurting the skar, but for budget it is what it is. .. I moved up to the skv2.2500 series for those features along with the Korean board of course.. I'm happy with my purchase 499.. got the power I wanted for sure.. can u dyno a skv2.2500? nobody has done that one yet.. and this amp is the best Korean board per wattage per price I've found.. I'd like to see what it does at 2ohm..

The reason skar was more efficient is because of the starting voltage difference. Higher voltage less amps.
