I currently own one of these W--4500.1's and it is absolutely amazing. I received it out of the first batch of pre-orders i absolutely love it. i have it powering a Crescendo Contralto 15" Dual 4 ohm wired at 2 ohms and it is beyond impressive! And not only that but the customer service is absolutely wonderful. Colin seems to be a really good, guy and he runs a great company very well! i highly recommend any product from them!

After this video I ordered 2 of these Gems. I run them gain matched@1ohm on 2 Wolframaudio AU15'S D2 in a shared enclosure. Absolutely insane for a daily driver. Does hairtricks and over 150db. I got them for 530$ each the prices have gone up since then. If you can wait a few months for it too arrive this is a bad ass amplifier. Korean made similar to the old Twisted Sounds 3.5k. Lots of people have them wired @0.5 without problems.

I just watched the amp dyno of the 4.5k crescendo amp and the wolfram put out a lot more power at a lower voltage. I'm very impressed with this amp and can't wait to get mine.

Shaun Jay well the smd forums say otherwise, nobodys really done a dyno of the amp yet , I think I'm gonna take my chances with the wolfram 4.5k it's only 600$ and does 5k unclipped at 1 ohm

rob shekelberg I think the smd forums biggest complaint was the 10% THD. In which the 4500 is listed in the spec sheet to have 10%THD strapped, and even in the forum I don't recall anyone putting it on the dyno. At this point I think it's pretty much a Q1-3500 with a minor upgrade in the windings... We still deserve a real world test. Until then we're speculating.. I'm trying find out if I should sell it and go with the apocalypse 4k or 5500.

Thats a high end amp company and this amp can be wired to .5 is a daily . Pure quality amp brand here. 100 quality here folks it will do about 20 % more power than its rated for and last 20 years .

hifivega I thought the voltage held up really well with such a big amplifier on the bench. He has a far better setup than Skar. They were barely able to power thier RP 4500 Dyno runs.

I have a amp recommendation, it's a 5 channel. The soundstream RN5.2000. under $250 and based on the xover can be used as a 3 way active setup with the sub channel actually running the front midbass drivers. Would love to see if this does rated

no clipping light is a deal breaker for me, that shows u that it's an older designed board, they probably bought the old leftovers. the clip light is a very nice feature to have, and soon most all amps will have them, I always play my subs at max, right up to where the clip light flashes then back down a tad.. and my clip light is dead on with the smd dd1.. nice power for ptice per watt though

I own one of these amps, the best amp I ever owned, also the most I've ever spent on a amp. It well worth the money I spent, I currently running in series/parallel on (2) "12" Skar ZVX 1 ohm versions. Man this thing beats, with box rise I'm well over 1 ohm maybe 2, I'm thinking of wiring down to a .25 ohm. I'll update you if I do. I highly recommend this amp if you can get your hands on one.

@@Mendieta991 Yes it still going strong, about a week after that first post I changed my wiring to parallel/parallel. I'm sitting @ .3 ohm, with box rise I'm probably @ .8 or so, as long as you run it without clipping or distortion you should be fine. Make sure you give her a enough power as well, I'm running a stock alternator and a 200 ah lithium bank I built myself. Still a highly recommended amp IMO, hope this helps.

There is no doubt the Wolframs perform. I have had my fingers in a 4500.1 and a 2500.1 and one of the big issues I have with them is the 85 degree celceous caps. Now any one that knows anything about caps knows you don't even get half the life as say a 105 or bigger. There are a few areas they went cheap on, but for the price they are a good buy. Long as you get a decent warranty. For the couple hundred extra I will stay with my splx Orions.

Yeah I actually pulled the back of my Wolfram off and compared it to my apocalypse aak55001d... The Wolfram is junk compared to the Apocalypse. My Wolfram 4500 clips into protect also if you're not careful. They also get rather warm for having a built-in fan. They're ok. I own it you get what you pay for.

@@Mendieta991 don't have that vehicle anymore, saving for next big system, currently working on smaller project with 2 CT sounds strato 10s in a 3 ft3 bandpass box, I had 3 xspower batteries and a supercap with stock alt 240amp, and I had upgrade to a Wolfram 9k with same same electrical and a 4th 18 wired down to .5 ohm, now I'm waiting on a 105 ah lithium, will upgrade alt later, these 2 10s are going to have a taramps bass 3k each wired at 1 ohm each, probably clamp around 2k each.

There new 7500 preorder is $999 - $99 if u use code gem at checkout, and it has a clipping light.. surprised they didn't send u one to test.. they probably didn't want to lose $100 on each order u get them.. I like that they offer a slice payment option that splits the payment into 4 payments, great deal.. I just don't like the way they look, they need a beefier heating, something that looks better. I know that's how they keep the cost down, I wonder where else they cut corners to make them more affordable.. a 7500 for 899 is unreal.. there has to be a catch somewhere.. my deaf bonce 4k was $692 shipped, still like to see that on a dyno, nobody's done it. I've seen it clamped 4400w @13.4v though and that's very impressive

why would they put a adjustable subsonic all the way up to 60hz? i dont see why anyone would ever put the subsonic even over 40. 10-30hz seems like plenty and easier to dial in.
