The kids sections would work because the kids keep it simple, they make it clear what they are talking about and they are repetitive. The long sentences for adults would be too hard for beginners. You are better off learning a language from a song. Because if you like the song you won't mind hearing it again and again. Any method that says language learning is easy should not be believed. If it was easy we would all be speaking multiple languages.

Very cool, but my ideal version of this would be like an extension for Netflix or Amazon Prime. That way I could watch things that I would be interested anyway. For now I cannot find enough shows or movies that I want to invest my time in on the website. Still great concept.

As of March 2021, Lingopie is $12 per month or $64.80 USD per year (discounted price). It used to be cheaper, just 3-months ago it was $9 per month, or $54 per year. Also, only Spanish and French are available on the site now (not Russian).

Is it just Spanish shows and movies in general or can you put in a certain country you want your accent to sound like and it’ll show the content in that area?

I'm finding that it's too fast and unstructured. I'm trying to cancel it and go with either a VR option or Rosetta Stone.

Oh, I thought it would be integrated with Netflix or Amazon Prime or similar. With a video hosting + language learning service I would be worried that they couldn’t afford the license fees for the most interesting shows.

I love the idea but... They don't seem to have pricing information anywhere on their website. This is a big RED flag. I can't trust them enough to give them my credit card. Which is sad because I like the idea.

AVOID LINGOpie at all cost. I am not sure about other languages, but their French selection is very poor. Also, if you forgot to cancel your subscription, they will not refund your money. I ended up paying for 2 years for this garbage.
