Really enjoyed the video, topical for me because I was live baiting for perch today on a yorkshire river, left the barbel gear at home and had the best fun ever catching mostly small perch on minnows with the odd 1lb'er, which lead me to to a youtube search and to your channel.

thank you mark, you are right, it wasn't the best session, trust me when I say I had 20x 2lb+ perch livebaiting on this venue 15 years ago! maybe I need to find them again!

me old mate gaz, I like all types of venues, it really opens your eyes when you fish places in cities that are very different to fishing out in the sticks. Zander is very much on my mind, maybe that will be one for the thames, but the venue I was fishing holds a good head when u can find them!!! next year I will do some over night session on here, I guess that's that's the best time for them during the nights and early mornings...

great video mate, i do a bit of live baiting on a small local river. i usually just use a jig head or a long shank with an ssg. small jigs then leave the minnow on the bottom like its dieing on the bottom still kicking put the shot or jig head keeps it pinned. i get plenty of perch, chub, trout but also the odd jack, even had a dace the other day. ill admit i just use a large water bottle for my baits but i really limit the amount i take from each swim, just catching two or three using them quickly and the restocking so i dont use too may from one swim. never had one die but those live wells love great

that's a good way of livebaiting, I have seen others do that, I haven't tried it myself, maybe I should give it ago! you can get a live bait well with air pump for under 20 pounds and last years, but like u say u can use whatever works for short time.

I did take ur request and include it in the second video I made Friday, however I blanked and the video wont go out. im trying not to show blank sessions if I can. to be honest I lip hook them and sometimes tail hook them depending on the fish im using as bait... but again I will address this on the next livebait session I do...

That's my local docks. Didn't know there was Pike, Zander & Bass there ! I've only ever had Bream, Carp & very occasion Perch. I Must again.

Even though I lived in London for years I never fished it. I can see now that was a muppet move on my part ha ha. out of interest, how does it work regards legalities etc? Is it classed as tidal? Day ticket etc? Great video, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to working my way though your other videos. Subscribing was an easy decision :-)

What kind of bass do you get in those docks? And when you mentioned catfish did you mean Wells and are there any big ones??

the only bass we have in the UK lol, sea bass! yeah Wels, also catfish from other parts of the world that have ilgeally put in there unfortunately. Size? I have no idea what the largest is, but seen them to 30lbs
