This song is a tribute to all metal lovers out there and metalsingers and bands. Teräsbetoni was such a great band. You really really must check out his Who Wants To Live Forever from that TV program. Great reaction, thanks, enjoyed it very much.

They were an unapologetic Manowar tribute band, and "Metallisydän" treads the same paths as Manowar's "Heart of Steel". Both are uplifting songs, and both work. Oh boy do they work...

For those who don't know, not that most people could: Teräsbetoni were kind of a parody-group of bands like Manowar. The lyrics and their whole image are pretty damn hilarious to be honest, a great project in my opinion. I can only imagine the laugh these guys got when they were invited to support Manowar in Finland about 10 or so years ago. Jarkko is an incredibly talented singer though.

Rumor has it that he was being discussed as the successor to Marco von Nightwish. However, a temporary replacement is only sought as a bassist. Which makes me hope for Marco's return.

Also, whenever a full concert is put in the queue, it's because the requester couldn't find the one song they wanted. So they usually give a time stamp to a mod to make sure it gets jumped to.

Jarkko is more singer than bassist, and Nightwish needs more bassist than singer. Would Jarkko settle as a background singer with his talent? I doubt. But soon we will know.

@@Susirajantakaa perhaps there is a songwriter with a solution ). think the bass part is easy to replace, there are so good session bassists out there ... the vocals are the problem

@@fantus01 Marko has such an unique voice, it is difficult to replace. But with the new album Troy is doing good job with backing and Marko is not so prominent in the mix. And as far as I have heard, Tuomas has said they will not perform Endlessness without Marko. If you listen the Human. :||: Nature. album, I mean properly listen, what could Jarkko bring to it vocal wise?

Not nearly as good as Marko but Nightwish's bass lines are pretty simple to play.

Would you think Marko is a base player before he's a singer if you had only heard him in Tarot and didn't know about Nightwish? Actually... if you had never heard Nightwish and had only seen him in Tarot and dozens of other bands he has visited as a singer? That said. While I have no idea who the next bass player for Nightwish is, it probably isn't Jarkko. I assume they've picked up some bass playing god, while Floor and Troy will take care of vocals.
