Is there a way to add a personalized or custom request for customers? I make my own items and do offer customization.

Hi there! We don't have a built-in text field that can be added to products for personalized request, but there is a built in Note section on the checkout screen customers can use to leave a Note about customizations. And, once their order is placed you'll receive that order along with the note in your Big Cartel admin. You can add a message in your product description so they know to use the Note section during checkout for custom orders. Hope that clears things up for you. However, we do feature stores in our blog (blog.bigcartel.com/) and on social media, and we try our best to provide tools and resources for stores to get the word out about their goods like with our Classroom guides (blog.bigcartel.com/tag/classroom).

I'm sorry, but Big Cartel only allows you to list prices in currencies that are supported by the two payment processors that we integrate with: Stripe and PayPal. Since PayPal and Stripe don't both support the South African Rand, we don't make it available to our shop owners. If PayPal and Stripe both support a currency in the future, we will add it to the list of possible currencies in your admin. For now, you could select a different currency from the list we have available on your Account page. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
