How to Create a Professional Signature for Gmail

Hey guys! I created this tutorial quite a while ago and it's clear that it works for some of you but doesn't work for others. Unfortunately I can't help troubleshoot your problems as this tutorial still works fine on my end. I want to keep the tutorial up still though as it seems to work for quite a lot of you still and is still helpful!

Thank you, this worked perfectly! Still relevant in January 2023 :) The only real difference that I found was looking for table properties. Just took a few seconds to find it hidden in the "Format" tab.

Thank you for the great tutorial. I find that now you can actually do all editing and hyperlinking and resizing in google docs and then simply copy and paste over and it will all copy. This saves the headache of editing within the signature panel. Also now in 2022 the signature panel is small and not able to be resized.

Thank you so much! I was going around in circles for over 2 hours trying to edit in the settings section. The jump to composing an email, editing it there and then copying it back in is pure genius; saved me many more hours trying to adjust my logos to get them positioned correctly!

Amazing, thanks! A tip for getting the icons the same size: In google docs, click on an icon, click image options and choose a size for it, then do the same for the same size for the other icons.

Great tutorial, however it no longer is applicable in the 2019 version of Gmail. When you copy the table from Google Docs the script fonts are altered to the generic fonts when pasted into the Gmail signature box.

if you are perfectionism like me... and you doing it by hand XDDDD you should resize them equally in some graphic tool and re-upload to make sure they are equal.

Great video, nicely done. I had the same problem others have experienced with the formatting not copying over from a Google Doc to the signature, and I had it in Chrome and Safari. It seems that Gmail has foiled the user experience once again. Of course, there's no way to reach out to them about it or about any other gmail problems.

Tables isn't listed anymore. The user will have to highlight their signature, right click, and Table Properties is at the bottom.

Just one problem- when I send an email with my signature and open it up on an smartphone (in my case, iPhone), the social media icons are positioned on the other side of the logo, i.e. NOT where I originally placed them in the signature box.
