I've been following the development for years. Way back when showbizz was still promoting this game as ESBC. I was sad because I couldn't play the early access since I didn't have a PC, but as early as when the full release on PS5 was announced, I pre-ordered right away without hesitation. And now I can't sleep till October 11.

Ive followed this game from the very beginning. Not played it as i dont have a pc. I kind of started to lose interest because it looked so bad but these new punch animations might just save this game. It looks like it will be a lot of fun offline. Footwork is plodding , punches are lightweight , lack speed and are unconvincing. Impact physics are terrible, fighters involuntarily move the their feet when they get hit, not just their heads. Punches need to sound dangerous. Likenesses are ok but very often the bodies don’t match at all. I really feel like you haven’t moved this particular genre forward at all. Tippy tippy punches are a massive ‘ No’. Footwork is just not smooth enough , how hard can it be in 2 decades

The movement (footwork) in Undisputed is the best I've ever played in any video game. Your steps actually have weight and you need to plant your feet, but the boxers don't feel clunky to control. Not sure what you are talking about. In FNC they just slide across the ring. The punching is what needs work in Undisputed. The movement is incredible.
