Great tip, I have experience installing from my old job. To be honest, I don't want the liability. Very limited liability for dropoff only. Once you add installs to your business, you open the door to more liability, and customers will easily be able to file claims that you broke the product, you didn't install it right, it's not working because of you, etc. I don't want to deal with that.

No, not to run gig apps or local courier companies. No LLC needed. The Benifits of having one is great, and I recommend if your going all in, get your LLC.

$310, I have my states minimum commercial insurance requirement of 30 60 30 with 5k in cargo insurance. When I had my authority, I had to maintain 300k general liability. Huge difference.

No LLC needed. You can write off your veh lease payments long as it's for business use only, LLC or Sole Preprietor. I have an LLC, but operate and recognized by IRS as an S-corp. LLC is better than Sole proprietor.

Id been thinking on getting into small cargo courier stuff for awhile but i always have some roadblock come up that messes up things so i just stay doing my old bullshit work and going nowhere. This would be easier if i knew i didn't have to get all the more complicated registering and such. I already have a chevy Astro set up mostly like a factory cargo van, it needs some of the E-tracks put in though to update it. But my neighbor has a tall sprinter already setup with a liftgate as it was her husband's work van, and he passed aways and it just sits there and im going to ask her if she'd want to sell it. Then maybe i can get a step up in size for not too much expense to start out. But then im looking at the other guys talking about getting into bigger box trucks to haul heavier and larger loads, so i dunno. Lol im just trying to make the best beginner decisions and not bite off too much to start out.
