It should be great!! Finally have my adapter to actually Mount mine where I should not have obstructions, which should make it even better. I haven't had a real issue at all. Perfect for areas with slow Internet.

update. your controller bro, connect it directly to the xbox and update it's software, it helped mine with the lag... and also the alignment is real time...

In the Northern hemisphere, it's always supposed to be pointed generally to the North.

Just got Starlink yesterday. Set it up - 100% clear view of the sky (I live on 11 open acres in New York). While the download speeds look great, and upload is decent... (237Mbps up / 25Mbps down), they are often erratic, dropping to as low as 15 Mbps down / 8 Mbps up only minutes later. There are no obstructions - nothing getting in the way. No changes in conditions. It's crap. Also trying to play something like Call of Duty MW3 on it results in about 10 disconnects an hour and game freezes. Starlink going back 100%

I would have done that if I was actually showing a proper alignment with the setup... Since I didn't have my Mount I was showing the rest of the steps and I'm making a separate alignment video that's going up this week.

Do you need internet connection to set it up, like mobile data or something?

No you don't, the Starlink dish will give you a temp free wifi connection while your seeing it up. You could be in the middle of the desert and as long as you had a way to power it, you'd be able to get internet and get it setup and get out to someone.

Not sure if you've heard recently, but there was two hurricanes in the South up that caused a lot of destruction, which SpaceX sent a ton of starlink units to them. So I think they're running a little behind since they gave a bunch of units away to help people in need. As for customer service, you can just start a ticket in the app and they chat back with you... They will setup phone calls if needed.

Dunrite You’re a tool bag. I thought this was a great video. Like BigC said, he’s trying to provide as much information as possible for a new product that barely anyone knows anything about and he’s just figuring it out for all of us to help out with his experience.
