Just a heads up my brother as an avid heist farmer demolition contracts no longer drop deli orbs. Hence the price of them this league. Also I’ll give one of my secrets since I’m pretty much done with the league. Engineering contracts are sleeper OP due to the map rooms. Awakened sextants are absurdly priced at around 34/35 an ex. If you get the extra sextant drop chance on your rogues trinket it’s insanely profitable due to engineering contracts being dirt cheap. GL out there guys.

Heist is insane money. My biggest recommendation is to get both Karst and Vinderi +1 to level of all jobs items. That way you can get them together way more often on the same wing. Roll all your brooches for basic currency, and cloaks for chest alert level reduction. When running agility/lockpicking contracts, pick Tullina if possible. The extra markers you get from her add up

I started doing all the heists I would bank up randomly instead of just selling them and it feels really enjoyable. Pretty consistent currency with high points that come pretty often every few runs, good XP, breaks the monotony of mapping. Its slower than mapping sure and no ultimatums but its a nice change when you have the contracts.

This is about on par for me, i enjoy taking a break to do heists every now and then, once i get bored i go back to finishing my atlas or running blight maps or something. I too run lira arthain with heist atlas tree and 6 chaos hiest map zana mod when i need more heist contracts/blueprints. I don't know why people are so anti-hiest, i see it in global all time, i guess it's just the doors are annoying and it's slower paced and such. It's not same as flying through maps destroying monsters or juicing up maps for some people i guess.

I was worried it was, but finally managed to get some, it'll feel really unlucky though. In my experience the blueprints drop in ~1/15 caches, and from there they have 10% chance to be identified, so 1/150 caches. Using the heist modifier at 6c per 2 caches, you're going to spend 400c+ to get a fully revealed contract. Some people have had way better luck and are getting blueprints in like 1/8 caches, but so far I've found 2 completely revealed ones this league

I have been doing a lot of heisting before quitting the league. Its very good and profitable indeed. Usually, once I reach to the point that I have TOO much contracts hoarded, I start running them in bulk. Too bad that other BP than unusual gems are crap, and aside from lockp, deception and demolition, other contracts are not worth it. Then, buying in bulk, as you mentioned, costs 10c, again IMO, that's too much for the time you invest doing them. I only could make a decent profit after using all the rogue markets you get with gianna in BPS.

Have you compared the drops from the big armor chests vs just doing small ones and grabbing currency/stacked decks? I remember Armor rewards being pretty meh back in early Heist, but haven't looked at where they're at after all the balance tweaks since.

they drop alot of small currency and you actually should be able to open all the small and big chests most of the time if you roll contacts and use rogues gear

Usually you can loot every big chest in a contract without setting off the alarm. Some people running lockpicking for example for pure profit per hour just go in and loot currency chests and then leave but in my opinion running the entire contract and all chests and looting the item at the end to make the rogues markers you will need to unveil blueprints takes maybe 45 seconds more and helps sustain. Plus ive also found looting even undesirable chests can yield valuable items, most chests can drop different types of scarabs, stacks of currency, enchanted high IL helmets which can sell for a good amount in armor chests and etc, sometimes people run lockpicking contracts and skip jewelry chests but i have found some really nice synthesized jewels and jewelry from them for example. I usually will open all the large chests and then just grab smaller ones on the way to the target item if theyre there but generally they are 9/10 dropping nothing and not worth backtracking for.

I run Heists just cuz I am sucker for Stacked Decks....2 Doctors so far this league :) Love gambling them but selling them in bulk is probably the way to go for money on the side. One thing I learned from this video is that I should have rolled the trinket.....got basic currency + div cards so that could pay off. Succor of the Sinless twice from a chest, wish I would have had the double chance back then.

If you play the game, you make currency. That's how PoE works. Heist definitely has some juiced up rewards this league. You can just run them really quick, smash and grab the loot. Even lower level heist drops lots of currency that's good early on. I think Perception also drops a lot of stacked decks. What I do when I'm farming them, is open div card chests, and the smaller chests. Ignoring all the chests I don't like. I made over 80 stacked decks in like 2-3 hours. And I spend a lot of time looking at my stash, I'm not an efficient farmer. 80 stacked decks made me about an exalt. That's from lvl70-77 contracts. Other types give cool rewards too, like scarabs. I find heist boring, but you can't deny it makes easy currency.

When running blueprints you need a lot of different Brooches for your rogues. Ideally you want to match them to the themed reward chests you unlock on the way to the last room. If you have a unusual gems blueprint where fx 7 of the themed rewards are map fragments, you need 3 brooches that each have 15% chance to double map fragments, as this wil basically add 45% more drops. If you have different rogues for different wings, remember to swap the brooches around. This may seem annoying and micro-managey but 45% more loot is not pennies. Also don't sleep on map fragment rooms, as their returns with scarabs, elder fragments and shaper fragments are quite huge. If you plan to farm the Lira Arthain Smugglers Caches, it can also be profitable to invest in a Thief's Trinket that have "Smuggler's Caches have 10% to double rogue markers" as this is one of the only Thief Trinket mods that works outside of actual Heists. It gives an ekstra 100 rogue markers on average per map.

@@benjaminlaw827 Your rogues cloaks should all have 11-12% reduced alert level, other stats are nice but not necessary Your rogues brooches should all have 15% chance to double a themed chest (like "basic currency") other stats are nice, but not necessary. This is quite expensive to roll/buy but it does help; your rogues job tool can have "+1 to level of all jobs" or "+1 to level of specific job" (like lockpicking). This will boost your rogues natural passive ability, such as increasing the odds of Vinderi doubling chest loot or Karst having more alert level reductions. They cost around 50c to buy/roll so you need to commit a lot to heist to make the well rolled job tools worth it. If you don't go for + levels, just go for job speed and be done with it. Weapons on rogues don't really matter, go for job speed and be done with it.

It adds more quantity on your map on top of the quantity you already get from chiseling, using an alch orb, and corrupting the map. Each sacrificial fragment grants 5% more quality. If you are super rich, you can use Uber-Atziri's fragments which grants 10% more quantity per fragment.

Anything fast that has a nice AOE clear when you need it. I ran a Hollow Palm Ice Crash Raider that season and it worked well. Some encounters you want to bypass and some kill just to get as fast as you can.

I like anything where you don't have to worry about the enemies. Minions, righteous fire, deaths oath, etc. Just run through, focus on doors and chests, ignore the bad guys.

Why wonder if stacked decks are basic currency? It is in the wiki description: "A Stacked Deck is a currency item that can be used to gain one random divination card." Anyways good video. What I would add for people looking to run maps for contracts/bps is to invest in a trinket with "caches have x% chance to double rogue markers" (they are fairly cheap) and when funds are available invest in watchstones for more blueprints. I personally find contracts and bps to be very chill gameplay well suited for when you're done with all your other goals and thus I have been running a lot of them ever since Heist league. I just wish the would polish the mechanic a bit cause things are inconsistent even if you are running the same type of contract (eg perception contracts. On smugglers den the doors open imediately after the npc finishes loading the job bar while in the 5 layouts that have scientist and templars she opens the wall basically so you have to wait for the full animation of the wall coming down before you can get in. It is a small thing but when running them back 2 back 2 back it becomes really really annoying). Also, perception has the worse npc-chest interaction. You can not force the npc to interact with it (he will sit there attacking), and if there are 2 chests present and you are only interested in one he will for sure reveal the other one first. On demolition the npcs still get stuck between the reward chest and a wall and they still sometimes blow up a chest several times before it actually blows up. Sometimes you run a very small contract (the layout) but you get 4-5 doors on your way out and so on. I am sad that things are just so unpolished. They did 95% of the work. Just some touch ups here and there so the actual gameplay when wanting to engage and invest in the mechanic doesn't end up feeling frustrating. Enough ranting. I hope to see a follow up video with more investment in the setup and with blueprints runs. Would also like to see you make a video about what I talked above with the shortcomings of heist and the slight areas that could be touched so that the gameplay doesn't feel like shit. But that is probably wishful thinking.
