And STOP KILLING EVERY MONSTER YOU SEE. Try to be 2-3 levels under the zone you're in and focus on killing blue packs and big packs of white mobs, don't go out of your way to kill everything. Only kill the stuff that is directly in your path and not insanely tanky. If you find yourself behind try to catch up in levels around Blood Aqueducts.

Something that really helped me get faster is to focus on one thing each run. For example, I had a real problem remembering to press my quicksilver flasks all the time so in one character, I told myself the only thing I will focus on is always hitting the quicksilver when it is off. Once you get used to that thing, you can then practice another on top of that.

I personally recommend using berek's respites or replica tasalios sign, or even just the normal tasalios sign. You can equip them starting lvl 20 and give a TON of flat damage. They're imo more impactful than tabula for the first few acts.

The biggest thing that helped me go faster in the campaign is using either Shield Charge, Whiling Blades or Leap Slam linked with faster attack. Using that alone speed up my campaign time by like an hour.

All resistance String of Servitude can be used at level 1. If you pair it with Goldrim, you'll have max resistances at level 1.

I discovered some new items for me. 1) PRACTICING - its more about your first character , but if you run just few times through acts (let's say till Act 3) so you can feel more confident 2) CHEATSHEET - look at PathOfMatth YT channel Google document about leveling 3) FILTERBLADE - just download filter for your build or customize yourself so don't stop so often 4) COMBO WOMBO - quicksilver flask + smoke mine + quicksilver + dash, later remove with shield charge + faster attacks 5) FOLLOW BUILD - some builds on forum have section about leveling or even videos 6) HAVE GOALS - like always cap resistances and have enough health P.S. do you guys think we might see any changes in PoE 2? Like skipping campaign for 2nd character?

I like using abyss gems in a belt for leveling, some flat damage and life works really good, and you can use it at level 1

That's the main reason I don't 'main' Poe. It's 1 campaign per League for me! They should implement some kind of atlas points = passive points system. Let's say for every 2 atlas passive points you get to stash a passive character point (not usable by the character that gained them) that way you could create a second character starting at 50ish and just go do the labs.

For the phys weapon vendor recipe you can also use unique rustic sashes. I usually keep all prism weaves I find in case I want to level an attack build later.

The campaign is just a “fun tax” that wastes a decent proportion of the time I actually enjoy PoE and utterly disincentives me to play new characters. I have done it so many times now that even if it wastes “only 5 hours” each time, it greatly tips the balance of enjoyment for me into “well I just can’t be bothered to play at all” territory.

You always put out good videos. Can you point of link to some of these "Leveling through the acts" videos? You did state that this is based on new players which I am. Go out and watch others videos and such to level up. Well, This is where I run into problems. Most people make league starter videos (which assume that players will be able to get through the campaign on there own). I am playing an EA Ballista guide which allowed me to get to Acts end, but did take me 40 hours or more because I was constantly referring back to the video. Hit a wall once acts completed though because I was still using skills and such which started at level 32-38. I had no idea what to do once I hit maps (Death count in the 400's now). I thought about changing over to try a tankier build, but can not find an actual leveling guide to get through acts easily. Thank you for any help you can give.

Just was looking for easier ways of getting through acts. And figuring out what people do with currency except buy better gear. Most of which was out of my price range for my first season. If you could give any tips on videos which go over all the extra programs people use I would appreciate it. I have gotten POB and used the POE trade web page. I just notice that in other videos I see people using different programs for crafting, quick look ups of prices, ect... I have no idea what these are or if they are within the terms of services of POE.

Awakened poe trade - allows you to check price of any item 2. ChaosRecipeEnhancer - highlights items that you need for chaos recipe set, must have tool for the first weeks of league, free currency 3. Exilence - shows approx. amount of currency in your stash 4. PoeNullEffects (costs around 10$) - removes any visual effects in game so your PC wont freeze sometimes; First two I highly recommend. @@trymusic4life Thanks for list I played necro skel mages. I was able to get through all maps with many many deaths. Then got some help killing maven and other ubers to get atlas tree and favorites opened up. All gems upgraded but gear was blah (no idea how to craft yet) Made most ex doing shaper thing 28 times and selling the thing I got. Also did chaos recipe for a while. Tried delve for a bit but did not get to to about depth 100 before started dieing a lot. I dont think I had enough physical damage reduction. I have started trying out other builds playing SSF mode to practice leveling for next season. Think I have settled in on Chaos damage build. I have watched all of those peoples videos. Tried to do their POB builds but never had the gear to make them work. My best item was a wand I bought for 14 ex. Finding out not to kill everything is best way to level. I think this might be most NOOBS problem. No awakened gems or anything like that, Just the basic gems from vendors and the vaal ones I found. After I practice leveling a few times I am going to try Heisting. I was never able to get far there because of speed I think. Still trying to figure out how people get the speed to run out so fast. If you know I would appreciate it.

@@trymusic4life Wow just had super long reply and it did not go through. Will try again. Thanks for the add on programs, I will check them out. Played skel mages necro. Best gear was a wand bought for 14ex. Stopped at 39ex and 600 chaos orbs to try new builds out. Got through all red maps on my own with exception of 1 boss, don't remember which one. Got help doing maven and ubers to get favorite maps and such. Did shaper thing for the 28th item thingy and sold those for most of the ex I got. Delved to around 100 before dieing to much (not enough physical damage rediction I think) Tried Heists but did not do well. I believe speed was my problem. Not sure how people in videos I watched get the speed. So was over whelmed and died a lot. Trying to figure out how to get the speed so can try again. Been trying out new leveling builds and have think I have settled on Chaos build for next season. used only basic gems from vendors or what I found, mostly from the VAAL side areas.

For me, I start a new char with a tabula, gold rim, belt of servitude (for resistances) lochtonial caress gauntlets, and wanderlust shoes. For the first 9 levels I use whatever weapon and jewelry I have that add to mana regen. Every character I use fireball with volley support and zombie meat-shields. I basically speed run through the Act 1 zones looking for the exit and only blast packs or monsters that I cant outrun. Level 10 I equip 2 Axiom Perpetuum which is what I leave until level 60. Level 16 I put on a shaper's seed amulet. Level 22, during Act 2, I equip Praxis rings and then 6 link my fireball up for max damage without having to worry about mana anymore. With Firewall 4 linked and zombies 4 linked, it doesn't matter what I pick for my build. This is more than enough even if I am going for a pure physical melee build to speed run the campaign. To speed run I basically ignore everything but the exit to the zone I am currently at unless I have a quest. I skip all the side quests for item rewards but I do the quests for the skill point rewards. I don't do league mechanics. I can blow through the campaign in about 5 hours regardless of build I am doing with this setup. I also have all the "flasks" I need laid out in a stash tab I switch out as I am progressing. The only gear I change out during the leveling progression is the wanderlusts sometime if I have much better boots towards the build I am going towards and I have flasks that cover the frozen prevention bit. Other than that Tabula Rasa for chest, Goldrim Cap for head, Lochtonials, Belt of Servitude, Shaper's Seed, Praxis Ring, Rare Ring with some resistances + regen + life or Le Heup, 2x Axioms, and Wanderlust shoes will get you through the entire campaign no problem. Again I prefer using a 6 linked fireball with 4 linked flame wall, and 4 linked zombies and sometimes a 4 linked vaal skeletons for faster bossing regardless of build. However, you can switch to whatever "build" you want after level 22 with the Praxus ring usually.

Thousand ribbons for twinking is often my bigger go to then taby damage, life, resis, and an extra link if your using a elemental skill so much more enjoyable tho coloring can suck. Replica Tasalio's Sign can also hard carry damage for the first 50 levels or so.

having to go through the campain again, is 100% the reason i almost never manage to stick around in the leagues. chapter 2 is so boring and act 4 and 5 arent that much better either. i still dont get why they cant add some sort of adventure mode, to speed level on followup characters. the worst part is, most of the time, players will just say "it doesnt take that long to do it" which brings me to the question of, if it doesnt, then why havent they added something for that then? if it doesnt bog players down for more than a few hours, why do we have to keep repeating the same crap again and again? i wanna love the game, but are decisions like this that really piss me off.
