Thank you so much for the details! Other channels just don't give you close up detailed instructions. Because of you going through every part slowly, I learned in a few minutes

Yes. Same thing for me. Not muscle memory yet (still have to think for a split second befor every move) but pretty good. Also, since you wrote this 5y ago, I'm wondering if you still do balisong flipping? If you don't mind sharing.

I'm sure it has been brought up already but I really appreciate your initial presentation of the move: "the back" *first position* "hand" *2nd position* "twirl" *3rd and final position* I'm sorry I don't know how to convey this in text properly but it was so smooth and it's definitelly helping me to learn it... I got into balisong flipping recently (3 months ish by now) with a cheap amazon one that I quickly upgraded to a Squid Mako V4.5 that I absolutely love. And I keep coming back to your tutorials... (Not shitting on Squids' tutorials, they're actually pretty good) But you're definitelly doing something right with the way you teach.

I did a variation of this (not sure if I came up with it or if it already has a name). Start the trick as normal, instead of catching and spinning the knife like at 2:00, you let it go further around your finger, catch the safe handle between your thumb and index finger, then swing the bite handle up and catch in a pen grip.

Don't know if this trick exists, but I found a way to go from having the blade pointed up to down using this exact trick. In the open position, you do the first 3 moves, but when you swing up the bite handle you flip the knife around and catch the bite handle in downward open position.
