Dave could you mention more about hoaxers to Steve Isdahl (spelling?). Steve is ALWAYS saying "who would get up in the morning and write an elaborate E-MAIL just to pull a prank, NOBODY !". My goodness anyone can make a new e-mail account in 5 minutes and spend an hour writing a story just to snicker to themselves and their buddies "This guy thinks that e-mail is real, ha!" How long does it take to hoax a video or picture ? A long time, hours, days but people do it and they do it for kicks or 15 minutes of fame. Steve doesn't seem to understand that it's not unlikely out of over 500 MILLION people in North America there couldn't be a few THOUSAND that would be less than 0.0004%) people doing e-mail story fiction. I'm not saying there are that many doing this but could do it. I am NOT discounting all accounts but I am saying there ARE hoaxers and con-artists everywhere and to say hoaxers don't exist and everything is true is in a way insulting. Dave, could you just mention it to Steve? I guess this is a pet peeve of mine and I sometimes see a lack of critical thinking going on and taking things at face value. Thank you for the 411 series. There a lot of strange things going on.

I'm really glad you aren't following any specific narrative or trying to make the evidence fit into a box. It does a disservice to the topic. I was astonished once I started listening to encounters that included UFO's and other "beings" as well as orbs and portals. It sounds out there, but I am not interested in judging, just listening. It is more absurd to me that people still don't believe in Bigfoot than it is thinking of it in addition to other species of creatures, giants, portals, and other things we still don't understand. I admire your ability to keep an open mind while not being gullible. Keep up the excellent and thorough work David. A bigfoot saved my life when i was about 7 years old. Cut a long story short. We were going for a trail walk, my father , 2 sisters and 2 cousins. I ran off a way ahead of everyone. Im excited as usual. I love nature. It had been raining and as i ran around a bend in the track which was right on the edge of a long drop off onto a stream, I slipped and fell off the side. Before I knew anything...i was aware that I was hanging off a cliff. I had grasped the thorn bushes in my hands automatically without thinking. I looked up and saw i was about 3 foot from the edge, then looked down and saw the water of the stream crashing over rocks below. I heard laughing so looked up and saw the two faces of my cousins laughing at me (I played tricks all the time and they thought it was just another stupid trick). I was trying to scream but no voice came out at all. They saw the look on my face and stood up running away yelling for my father, I heard their voices vanish into the distance and just then...a big hairy arm reached down over the cliff behind my head and grasp me by the scruff of the neck pulling me up onto the ledge facing away from the track. When i turned to see who it was nobody was there and at that moment my father etc appeared coming around the bend quickly looking concerned. I asked if they saw who pulled me up and they said no one was standing with me. It wasn't till i got older that I realised who it was :). We still talk about this incident when we are all together. These beings are not animals at all. Good health and fortune for the coming year and after :).

Brotha David, my encounter in 1974’ with the Forest people left me with PTSD for 47 years. He was 11’ plus tall, 5’ plus across the shoulders, 1100 to 1200 lbs., with red eyes and teeth shaped like a horses teeth only twice the size and slightly pronounced eye teeth. There is more to this encounter!

My uncle used to have a farm and on his farm he had an apple orchard. And his apples kept disappearing. So he decided to camp out one night and find out where all his apples were going he thought it might be the deer but turns out it was a Sasquatch. He took pictures of it but his wife burned them because she said people would be coming to the farm and destroying their business trying to find it. So my uncle started leaving apples just across the river on the back of his property for the Sasquatch. In return the Sasquatch would bring him pretty little rocks which he had looked at, turns out they were expensive minerals that he was able to sell for a little bit of money. This would have been back in the '70s and '80s. I never saw the pictures but my mother did and she said it was no doubt a Sasquatch.

A friend of my grandfather who raised me had numerous experiences in the Honey Island Swamp in Louisiana. My grandfather said that he had seen the same type of creature on our Ranch as well as in and around the Honey Island Swamp area. My Grandfather's friend was even able to get the creature on video as it moved across the Swamp in front of him. I'll try to get information on the video to send to you. One thing I read is that one investigator said he could have been ejected from the car when whatever accident happened but his sister who communicated with other investigators said that they believed he could have exited the vehicle after the crash. Apparently there was evidence for this. It’s so hard to get any info about his case and it seems to have gone cold.

A friend saw a female bigfoot while logging in Northern California. It was a remote place. He did not leave camp until late. When he describes her he is very detailed. He speakes of the muscle in her arms. How she cleared the road in a single step. What I think is interesting is what he said about the hair. He said the hair on the head came down past her shoulder. Said it was long. What you said about the pony tail stood out. He also said she was pregnant. He has gotten in many fights over his sighting. He doesnt like being made out a fool. He saw her close up. The lights of his pick up were light a spot light on her. He said if she would have wanted she could of flipped the truck easily. When he speaks about it you feel as if you are seeing it too. I enjoy the information you are sharing. I have not seen a big foot. I have been in remote areas camping and have had the smell of something similar to death fill the air, the knocking and even had a tree branch thrown through the window of our jeep. I have had the forrest become silent. But have not seen it. There are things that go bump in the forest. Stay aware. It is good advice. Know where you are. Pick out markers in the landscape to keep your direction. One question why are some sightings completely terrorizing and others are way different. Maybe it depends on if they are hungry or not.

So I went outside and witnessed the star about ten degrees up South West of SB. I usually see it about 30 degrees up South East. The other night it was NE about twenty degrees up. I was amazed when you showed photos of this,"star." It caught my eye a couple years ago and I was amazed at the colors. I even called out my husband and sons to see it. Anyways, hope all is well. It's great that someone with your character and eye for detail is engaged in not only researching this topic but is also presenting the evidence collected to anyone who cares enough to lusten. It fries my backside that there are so many topics like UFOs, cryptids, the missing and subjects like portals and the factual truth about all of these is only available to a very small, rich and powerful group. Some people like my elder part of my family don't want to hear one sentence of any of these subjects. IV had three fast and momentary sasquarch visual experiences and one audio ,but can't tell them. I told them about the first experience when I was around 10 and I was laughed at and rediculed. . That was the last times that I ever spoke about the subject with any of them. So some people would rather stick their heads in the ground than to even entertain the thought that they might be real.

@@nani.9754 My parents were the same way. It never ceases to amaze me how so many people instantly dismiss something anything even slightly paranormal. To me if a person refuses to listen and thinks they've seen and heard it all then how can they learn? Ive never seen a crytid myself and even though i would probably be scared and freaked out i still feel like it's a gift. You are really fortunate to have had multiple sighting plus an audio despite how short the experience was and i know it must've been so hard to not be believed and its a lonely feeling when you cant share something so special. Ive always listened to my kids when they tell me things that may seem off the wall but i know them and know they wouldn't lie about stuff like that. My oldest daughter started having paranormal experiences as a toddler and seems to have passed it on to her chikdren. When my granddaughter was little she told me she picked me out before she was born and saw full apparitions many times just like her mom. She got mad about it even though i told her it was a special gift and didnt want any part of it. I told her to talk to God and ask him to back it off some. I hope you realize that even though you werent believed you were still given a special gift each time you saw or heard one of these beings.

I was told after the first experience that I was " pipe dreaming". But I was scared to death that it would come find me.It didn't feel like a blessing back then , but now I can see that it was. It did traumatize my child hood enough to fear going out side and fear of the dark It also thought me that the adults in my life would not protect me, if needed,that they would laugh and redicule me In a serous situation. The whole experience made me not trust my family. Only to trust myself.

I saw a Bigfoot once in SoCal on the Grapevine in Los Angeles County. It was way up in the cliffs above the I 5 Fwy walking like there wasn’t a rock in sight. My husband didn’t see it because he was driving and we passed it so fast. People always say why didn’t you get a picture or video. How can you if your driving at 60 plus miles an hour? I lived in way North CA in Mendocino County for 25 years and if you think a person might see one that would be the place.

I grew up on a rural farm Parents & Grandparents property side by side, farm with well over 100 acres. Grand father knew about these creatures for the longest time. When I was 16, I was walking in forest by our orchid & saw I’m guessing a younger one but wasn’t much taller then me. We came about 30’ from each other. We scared each other at same time & both looked at each other & then split in opposite directions. Almost like we mirrored each other. Way more Human, I remember hearing weirdest talking outside our windows at night. Mainly my sisters room & my rooms windows. Could never come even close to understand what they were saying. Sounds and noises were soooo odd. And not until hearing the same sounds or I guess words over & over did I get that, that was how they communicated. Still to this day. Over 31 years ago. Still baffles me, how they made those noises etc. they really like the mash that is left over from making our own. Funny how that would always disappear over night.

Unfortunately, the mainstream shows that go after cryptids do it for viewership. That creates a major problem because it becomes about ratings and money and less about the subject matter. You can still learn some things from watching these shows, but eventually it runs out of steam and becomes repetitive. I enjoy browsing the lesser known films and documentaries that cover these subjects. They talk about everything you've mentioned and provide more substance to the topic. Reading books on these creatures is another way of going outside of the norm for research and learning. I really appreciate you opening up about this and talking about it. I purchased your book Tribal Bigfoot years ago and it's a very good read.

I'm the silly lady that introduced myself to you in Metaline Falls this summer while you were at your table. I may not have written a book but I have gathered information in the area I research. I have pictures and videos and I understand their travel patterns in our area. They are coming much closer to the primitive cabin we have near the Canadian border including breaking trees at there base to keep us from going across one particular road.
