This video ended up being something completely different than what I had planned. After finding some trails to hike & explore, I decided to head out and do a peaceful & relaxing adventure in nature. Little did I know that things would go in a different direction and that my senses would tell me that something seems off. It's pretty common to hear sounds in the woods, especially with animals around, but what is not common is feeling like your're being watched and wondering if your eyes are playing tricks on you. What did I hear? What did I see? I don't have an exact answer to that, but all I can tell you is that I felt like I wasn't alone.

To answer what happened... When I was filming my outro, the branches & foliage in front of me started moving as if someone/something was moving through it, but I saw nothing. It was enough to freak me out and leave as quickly as I could. I still don't know what I encountered... But when/if I decide, I will possibly return and explain in more detail what I experienced and maybe do a type of investigation. For all those who were concerned about my safety, Thank you. I made it back in one piece.

Phew!!! Thank goodness your ok ❤, we can totally understand why you ran....the ambience of the whole video was freaky, we could pick up how unsure and uncomfortable you were while filming. We are travelling and we have stopped in places that just haven't felt right or had a freaky feeling and we have witnessed things that we still cannot explain to this day in which saw us pack up camp, even at night, and move to another spot quite quickly. The unexplainable things we have witnessed were at the point of making us fear our safety at the time.

I know that feeling all too well. Growing up, the old Pa Coal Company Gravity Railroad was about 200 yards behind my house. Legend has it that the section here was a large wooden trestle. From what I was told, one of the car-men was thrown off and was killed in this section. Every time my friends and I walked this area, it felt like someone was there in the woods with us.

OMG my blood just ran cold when you started to run at the end! Whatever it was, you did the right thing listening to your senses about getting out of there. I've never had anything that profound happen to me, but there have been plenty of times I've had that uneasy feeling of being watched and every fiber in my being just telling me to get out of there. That's a shame that what should have been a relaxing day went awry like that. Is this a place you think you'd return for a paranormal investigation? Or is it just too spooky and risky?

This one really hits home for me! When I was 13 years old my Dad had some logs cut on our farm, when they were done lots of trails were left in the woods. I decided to explore them and started hearing things in the woods, sticks breaking and stuff then all of a sudden a tree started shaking and I ran for my dear life! I never saw what it was, I'm guessing a deer. Great adventure JP! Brought back a memory for me! Can't wait to see the sequel! That was a strange rock symbol you found.🤔

It's, The Silence! They're stalking you. The woods can mess with your mind from time to time. More than once I've heard conversations echoing through the trees. What sounded like human voices, talking. Each time it turned out to be geese and ducks from a distant pond or river. Their calls, echoing through the trees, sound just like distant conversation.

Of course that is possible, but he performed it credibly and well. I had a ghost hunting coworker that gave up because he said too many crazy people, too little authentic events. Regardless of the truth, I enjoyed the video because it is credibly done. To this day, William Shatner of the original Star Trek, is accused of being a wooden actor. If you believed JP's video until you read the comment, he did a great job.

Hubby 2 kids & I were at Wyo. campground, setting up tent something next to us seemed 'OFF' man was yelling at child strapped in car seat in back of car. She was crying & about 4 too big for the car seat. My daughter had to go to bathroom bit later & when we got up to building the big window was broke out & glass all over, lady that ran the place said guy next to you got mad & put his fist through it. I told her we are leaving, I think the child isn't his, he ignores her pleas to go to bathroom & eat. I made up excuse to hubby & we packed up fast, as we left we passed couple of cop cars. We got a motel room & she said, oh, you were there, well it was a long standoff with police & the child had ben kidnapped from Oregon. But even in middle of many campsites next to each other, our hair had stood on end, we knew something bad was going to happen. Glad the child was freed & OK!

I've had times like that. Sometimes when I'm railfanning deep in the woods. I always have a strange feeling that sometimes I ain't alone. Probably the most terrifying moment I've had was encountering two little black bear cubs... it wasn't the sight of the nice little guys. It was the thought of probably a 600 pound overprotective killing machine in my area. Keep in mind I was in the middle of the woods near the tracks when this happened. So I was in a clear area so if mother saw me. She could see me well... so slowly but surely I made it back home.

I hope you all are feeling better also I wanna say is be very careful when you go out hiking in the woods as you don't want to end up like one of those missing 411 people. What you heard and saw be of been something that is linked to these missing people. They just go missing after hearing or seeing strange sitings in the woods/forests. Please take some one with you are something to protect yourself. Many people who were finally found or turned up have reported to have seen something as you did that wasnt there, as if it was a predator from the same named movie as it seemed to disappear quickly like the predator in the movie as if it has stealth. After many years of walking the woods, I can truly say I have experienced times when the woods have become dead quiet instantly. No birds, no, insects, no squirrels or any other life sounds. Not even a breeze. I could "feel" something watching but never have I been afraid. It was like something was protecting me, not threatening in any way. Of course I was not threatening anything either. I believe that is why I was protected. It was my respect for nature that made the difference. I am not saying it was sasquatch or any other paranormal creature, I just don't know what it was but I do know something was there.

The village is a great movie. The whole monster thing about it was made up to keep them in the compound and away from the modern world. I've been followed in the woods by a bobcat or other large cat in the brush next to a trail. That was probably the scariest half mile I've ever walked. I've even been a mile deep into the MS River Delta swamp at dark with a dying headlamp and not been that scared.

These type of trails I usually stay away from. I like the way they look but like where I'm at people always doing weird stuff in the small forest. Last time I went into the woods woods was 20 years ago, I got so lost I thought I'll never get out. Was almost dark owner of land runs his truck right up beside me laughing, told you don't leave the dirt road 🙄. I said yeah real funny.

What an actor, I and a friend where out walking on top of the mountain between Wilkes Barre and Nanticoke, we both had a feeling that something was watching and following us. After about half a hour, we saw a red fox, standing on the path about 50 yards in front of us, it was then we decided to turn around and walk back, when we turned around there was a gray fox in back of us. So we both began yelling and screaming and picking up rocks and throwing it at him, the gray fox took off and ran, and we didn't see him the rest of the walk back home We figured out these two fox's where probably hunting us for dinner. Never carried a weapon except for a bow every now and then. So check the area where you are hiking and at least have some pepper spray. Enjoy nature because most animals will probably run from a human unless they are injured.

Yes. I saw "The Village". An entire generation of young people scared out of their wits in order to "protect" them. The means to the end was certainly questionable, but I can see what you mean comparing your feeling to that. I stayed out overnight, in the woods once, by myself, when I was 17 (and yes, it was a very good year). I had my mom take me up in the woods and just drop me off. I hiked only about a half mile from the main road, which itself was about another mile from the nearest neighborhood. But I tell ya, when the sun went down, even with my camp fire which I made sure was big, it got darker than dark, blacker than black, and I took notice of every "snap" and "crack" of every twig as it fell in the dark; in the night; when no one can hear you scream... It was scary, but fun. That was in 1967. I had a fun youth... and I miss it so. .

I just watched this at midnight ...( in late from shopping trip ) ...my heart is still pounding !!! The entire time you were walking I was telling you to " go back ...don't take the trail ....don't go any further . Get to your car !! ".....really scared for you.. ... so thankful you are o.k., my friend . ( curious arrangement of rocks ....wonder what that's for ? )

Slender Man Forest. He can become invisable when he wants to. That is probably a hunters' camper. They go through a lot of trouble to bring the campers to a spot to hunt and leave it there. They come back year after year.

I know that area very well. The lake is on the Elm Street Sportsmans Club property, which is private & I'm a member of the club. The camper is a hunting cabin belonging to several locals. All that was private land. If you want to walk woods, go farther up the road & walk the state game lands. There are a number of fire cuts to explore. Just don't do it during hunting season.

Thank you for clarifying that. I did park at a gamelands parking lot and walked the trail behind the gate which wasn't posted. But I must of wondered off the game lands. I'll use your recommendations for the future.

@@JPVideos81 No problem. No harm done. You entered from public land & that side of the property is not posted. There's an old railroad bed farther up Suscon road. It was used by Albert Lewis to haul ice from Mountain Lake to Bear Creek dam. Let me know if you want me to show you where it's at.

Well done - The tension was palpable! We've all had times like this in the woods. BTW, I think those mounds were Allegheny mound building ants. We have them down here in Maryland, and they're pretty neat, but boy can they bite.
