I've returned to give an update on the Strange & Unusual activity I encountered where I also felt like I was being watched. I retrace my steps to where the activity first started and explain what I was hearing. I also answer some questions, including why my outro ended as a cliffhanger. @@JPVideos81 I'm not a big Bigfoot believer, but if you see a sapling bent over and wedged into the branches of another tree, that is allegedly a warning that you are encroaching on their territory. Ditto for a dead sapling leaning in the fork of another tree if there is no indication that it grew where the bottom is. Personally, I would have been on my guard the instant that I looked down the trail where you found the trailer at the end. Bigfoot will allegedly place trees or other obstacles across a path that it doesn't want you on, and humans will definitely do so. Again, examine the root end of the tree. If there is no sign that it grew where it is at, then then the tree was placed there deliberately. My guess is that you were being shadowed by a person. Good camo and/or a ghillie suit would render them virtually invisible in that terrain. The human eye is very sensitive to movement, especially in peripheral vision...The "corner of your eye". Hence, you might see them moving, but not be able to see them when they stopped and blended in. A trained person could well be invisible almost to the point where you were in danger of stepping on them. Taping a folded towel to each boot will make hearing footsteps difficult and can almost eliminate footprints. You might hear them moving, but not the sound of footsteps. I generally concealed carry. When I am in a wilderness situation I open-carry...prominently. My EDC (Springfield XDM, 13+1 in .45ACP) is large enough to be rather easily visible if I want it to be. I have found from personal experience that placing your hand on the butt of the weapon and announcing in a loud voice "show yourself or move away" while facing in the direction of the noise or movement can make "weird things" stop happening. Animals don't like loud voices, humans don't like being shot at.

I can understand how it would be hard to find the words in the moment for it. But I appreciated hearing your thoughts and recap after you've had some time to think through it. Wow! I totally agree JP, that is absolutely scary to witness paranormal activity like that. You talked about how it scared you off, could be a demonic entity protecting that area, or protecting something. So it stopped you from walking farther up the trail, but ever way that's very scary. Get you a SLS camera JP, then you can see the actual figure walking around.

I was kind of worried for you in that video , and I showed my husband the ending -and he said you were ok and that if you uploaded the video, that you were safe. He thought you were joking around but to me-the look on your face was so genuine that I felt like you were truly terrified in the moment ( or the best actor). Let me enter a guess. You're on state game land with animals...deer, bear, coyote, foxes, etc...and they would consider you an interloper that might be a source of food or at least curious about who's on their territory.

It could be anything really. Woods in general can be creepy. Weirder things have happened. I would look up some history of the area to get an idea of what’s out there. I myself think you probably encountered some shadow people, they can appear and disappear real fast 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great update JP! My logical side says it was probably a Coyote, Deer or Bear but the other side of me says it could have been something other, I did see something once when I was younger when I was sleigh riding and my dog saw it too, it looked like a green electrical wierd moving creature, I wouldn't have seen it if my dog hadn't started barking at it. Strange thing is I was talking about it years later and my Aunt by marriage and her sister saw the same thing only blue. We all grew up in the same area and they saw it the same year I did which was the winter of 1977 before she and my Uncle were married.

Do you know the history of that area and the trail you are on? Anything violent happen in the past there? Maybe a camp or a small settlement exist at one time? To me this sounds paranormal in nature so the history of that land would be very important. Sounds like someone may be stuck here and hasn't moved on to the afterlife.

Thanks for the update on what happened. You can probably rule out several types of animals. After tracking you for that long, some of them would have chased you down. Those kind of woods could have people who are on the run. Any prison escapes around that time? Good luck finding out what it was. I hope your investigation comes up with some kind of answer.

Awesome update JP! I know you said that the area is game land, but I wonder if they would allow a trail cam to be set up to see if you could catch any animals on video? Not sure that would help, but it may give you an idea. I think it's great that you plan to go back and do an investigation too. That may give some answers too. Sasquatch are known to use rock formations, like the one you saw, as territorial markers. They also use teepee like tree formations to mark territory. Do a google image search for bigfoot tree structures, you may have unknowingly encountered them on some your ventures. They often shadow hikers, walking parallel just out of direct sight. When the hiker takes a step, they step, when the hiker stops, they stop. You're instincts were spot on, what ever it was, it wanted you to leave.

I have no doubt in my mind that you experienced something. I've been out the woods several times and had that feeling of being watched. It'd be cool to do another video and come back with your equipment and see what you can find. Just be careful out there you'd be surprised the things in this world that are possible.

I agree with Andy. His comment is below. Maybe the noises were animals but whatever you saw at the last was not. I had a similar experience many yrs ago, walking in the woods in the UP of Mich. with my then father in law. Lots of snow on the ground but we kept hearing something else walking behind and beside us like for close to 2 hours. When we stopped, "it" would stop. We'd catch something out of the corners of our eyes too, turn and not see anything. We walked thru a small clearing, stopped at the edge, just inside the trees to see if what was following us would walk thru that clearing too. Yep! 3 deer! lol they are very curious creatures and guess just wanted to know what we were doing walking in their woods lol But sure made the rest of the walk less scary. And they will hide behind trees to watch you.

The first video was a cliffhanger and got me freaked out from the intro and I liked this one trying to explain everything. Now that you are doing better from being sick the 3rd part investigation with your Paranormal investigator mates, and that would be a great spring or early summer video release @JP Videos. Also a trail camera would be great for at least 24 hrs to see if you capture anything in the spot that you did hear and see the incident.

My theory is still an animal like a mountain lion they're known to stalk and they like to hide up high and very low where most forget to look hence hearing thuds of them jumping out of a tree and seeing brush move with nothing appearing to be there. With it being game land it makes much more sense could've been close to a den even....

i remember being on summer camp and there was about 6 to 8 meters tall watch tower in the camp (to observe the road cuz sometimes there were visitors coming) and we were watching it in 2, sometimes 3 people and one afternoon i was up there with other kid and we were looking through the woods (there was a hill in short distance with pretty much bare top) and we were seeing tall black figures there and then one super tall one appeared on top of that hill and it must be massive cuz the hill was about half a kilometer away, maybe more and it was 3/4 tall as (already very tall) pine tree. We were making fun of it as if it is just our imagination (we were around 9-10 years old back then) until one night i had to pee. I have no clue what time it was (it was in 2000's so no phones yet) but I would say around 3 am? The weird thing is, that it was full moon but I dont remember moon being up there previous night. There was literally no one outside (there were supposed to be two people walking around the camp to make sure everyone is safe and the camp was on the field with only few trees so no way they were just out of sight somewhere. Also the building where adults slept had lights shut down when there was suppsoed to be one adult awake if anything). So i walked through the field next to the other tents to go pee and then i encountered very tall person. I thought it was one of the adults but this thing was much taller and all black, just like the figures we saw earlier. I remember looking up at it and it looking at me and after that I dont remember what happened for rest of the summer camp.

Wow! Don't know how I missed this one. I've had a large fascination with the supernatural. I don't necessarily believe in bigfoot, but I'll never criticize someone who swears they saw one. I definitely believe spirits because of personal experiences. I also believe in UFOs, whether they are secret aircraft, aliens, or spiritual vessels, I don't know. I used to be a woods explorer way back in the day. There's nothing better than fresh air, physical effort and enjoying the freedom of the great outdoors. I've watched a few of your 'exploring' videos and appreciate your efforts. I find the videos are interesting, entertaining and I appreciate your explanations throughout. That being said, I also do not believe in the existence of paranormal energy or 'activity'. I do not believe in the existence of 'ghosts'. I do not believe in the existence of mystical beings. Sasquatch? Uh, no. There are many things that do exist in the natural world that we humans do not yet know of, nor about, and there are things many of us are familiar with and some of us maybe not so much. I believe the human brain is an amazing mass of flesh, chemical and electrical activity in which we experience our environment, beyond it being the control center for our life-sustaining and motor activities. The human brain also seeks out pleasurable experiences... with "pleasurable" being a subjective definition of the moment: whether it be "food", "sex", "fright", "mystery", etc. Take your pick. One or all. I do believe many of us have experienced the 'feeling' of being watched, of being followed or otherwise felt that 'something isn't right'. They're legitimate experiences, many times which would amount to nothing more than a brain either properly or improperly interpreting a situation. The portion of our brain that provides our sense of self-preservation is powerful, as the main goal is just that: preservation, regardless of the cause of the sense of danger. The question is, though, was the source of concern a true, real concern or was it our brain acting with an err-on-the-side-of-caution. Many people enjoy a good jump-scare, a mystery, or the unknown of the what-is-it. I'll attribute this series of videos to that broad category and leave it at that. I'll continue to watch your videos and I appreciate that you owned up to your decision for a cliff-hanging ending to being, essentially, for entertainment purposes. I can not speak to your claims to having experienced 'paranormal' activity and such, as such experiences are personal in nature and no one has a right to deny anyone their beliefs. Live and let live. Until someone provides tangible, incontrovertible proof of the existence of paranormal energy or activity, of Sasquatch, ghosts and goblins, I'll stick to my simple world of nature.

Good Vid..! If you hike on a regular basis you will event eventually run into something scary. I was hiking along a dirt road when I heard something following me in the woods. It was really scary, worse than running into a bear. Finally, I saw it, it was a wolf where wolves don't belong! Was about twice the size of a German Shepard, and had huge shoulders. I backed off very slowly, took a while to back off. I have never hiked alone since. If you hike, you should always be ready to run into something.

Imagination when you are alone and vulnerable can make things seem scary. It may have been a raccoon or something. In a long unlikely thought, maybe a panther. If you come back, night cameras are usually interesting.

I am curious to see if your equipment will pick up the invisible beings I can see around you. They are nearby throughout your entire video, many times only an arm's length away. A tip to see them is to set up your video camera on a stand and watch the video for localized areas that seem slightly blurred or fuzzy. You'll see the fuzzy area move. It takes a keen eye. I am a skeptic, but this was a great video nonetheless. Skeptic explanation for the movement? Maybe a wind vortex? I swear those things follow you sometimes and it's weird. Like those times around a campfire when the smoke goes in your face no matter how many times you move. Probably my imagination, but it don't seem like it. Those black forms behind the trees, what's up with that? That's a horror movie thing! Animals I suppose but you know what animals live in the vicinity and would not be so easily fooled. On one of my regular bike rides there was a spot at the top of a hill where I always saw a rider approaching from the other direction and they weren't there when I got closer. I was always alone, I assume no one else would have seen the "ghost rider". Eventually it stopped happening after I had a defective heart valve replaced. Maybe coincidence, or maybe my brain is getting enough oxygen now, or maybe I'm not as close to that spirit world. I had a funny "being watched" experience late at night at home while on the computer. I finally noticed a mouse actually watching me, so that time I WAS being watched! Anyway go back there sometime during the same season, it'd be interesting to see if the shadows behind the trees return or if that was just a one time anomaly.

When I was a kid we lived in CT, and my friends and I would often play in the woods behind our house. There were many times we'd hear someone (something?) walking heavy near us. Deer we had seen didn't make as heavy a sound. Only once did we encounter something we couldn't explain and that was the last time we went that far into the woods. Unrelated, soon after his we moved away, so I never did find out what it was.

I had a very similar experience on my own property. I had property and a cabin near the Chattahoochee River north of Atlanta. WHile out walking my land I hear a " crunch, crunch, crunch" that distinctly sounded like a person following me . I could see no one... Then he came out of the woods. It was a HUGE Barred Rock rooster ( chicken). - That my wife ended up adopting as a pet. It hated me. I still have scars from it. On another occasion I was fishing in a small river in a canoe. On the bank I heard a terrible commotion in the dry leaves. I could see what looked to be a HUGE snake undulating through the leaves headed toward the water. I grabbed my pistol. When it got to the river bank I saw that it was a Momma Duck with about a dozen baby chicks following her in a line...

Someone from another diminsion was walking around there. Sometimes hunters will leave their trailors parked in the woods so they don't have to drag it back and forth each hunting season. Happens a lot. Those rocks could be the hunters marking their hunting locations for themselves or for others to know where to hunt.

Perhaps a day or two before you return, set up a couple trail cameras to record activity of animals, movement of any sort, etc. There have been times where I've been alone in the woods and just got spooked and left; without seeing anything. Hope you can figure it out.

In folklore its called a Hidebehind. It supposed to hate the smell of alcohol so carry one and maybe dab some on your clothes or neck like its some kind of cologne. 😁

I can believe it was an animal at the first part of the video. But at the end I think it was paranormal, you would have seen a bigger animal if that was what made the noises. Whether you were playing it up for entertainment purposes or not, I saw the look of terror on your face for a split second and it was very believable. Great video. I had an experience in Harding a few years ago. I can’t tell you what it was because I didn’t see it. However,I felt the ground vibration as this “thing” moved away from me. I proceeded to my tree stand,climbed, tethered and sat. I heard the sound again but quite a bit further away from me I waited till daylight scared out of my mind. Climbed down at sun up and haven’t been back since.

Something small n grey creeped out from leaves on right side of trail n bounced over to the left side about ten feet in front of you after you can out of the tree! Can't stop video to get a better look at it., But it was almost invisible crossing the grass trail! Watch this video with a slower speed. I backed it up 4 times to make sure I saw it.

Not sure of where this location is Jay but we do not have colonies of fire ants in PA....instead those are more likely the imported red ant. Still very nasty and something to avoid for sure. Nothing worse than that feeling when you are alone, carrying protection or not!! Thanks for the adventure!!

Ok JP i wish I watched the whole Video. If you saw Movement, In the Grass, But seen nothing, You ran into 1 of those Creatures that can Cloak, them self, They also clime into tree's and can follow you with out being seen, I would have been nervous also, I have seen nothing On video, Of what happen,s to people that have seen these thing,s. I know a mother and younger son seen 1of these thing's in there back yard, Its like a blurred movement of a human figure, they ran into there home.If you cant see it coming kinda hard to shoot. Be safe dude.

They stuff in the mountains that our minds can't understand . I once was followed by something I couldn't see but could hear in the mountain. I had a shotgun on me I open fire on where the sound was coming from . I seen leaves and mud flying up in air off something running that I could not see with my eyes . Still have no idea what it was that been along time ago .
