I have an older Braven speaker that’s the same size as the Solo. I don’t think mine is a Solo. Probably an older model. Anywho, for it’s size, it puts out some decent sound. I have no doubt this biggest one sounds amazing.

First off, if you have a new Galaxy phone(maybe others out there), you can connect to two devices at once (2xSpeaker, 2xHeadphones or mix). As for other portable speakers, I haven't tested any other large form factor ones but I'm sure they exsist. From my past life experience, I installed a system on a boat and there just isn't anything portable that can compare to that level of power. If you have the change to spare, I'd go all out! If you're ever in the Houston area, I have the perfect guy for you😎👍

Last summer my Bose S1 pro trumped all these consumer Bluetooth speakers on the beach. lol. I pop it in the back of my 4runner and any ricers beside me at a traffic stop that have their stereos blasting their mumble rap are met with Metallica or AcDc. I also use the S1 pro to dj at events and weddings and the sound can fill ballrooms without distortion. So it's kinda paid for itself. My point: Invest a little bit more in pro audio than these toys if you want to carry the biggest stick. Its worth it.

Well I play drums. I use my stage speakers to play the music. And u can hear it like 10 blocks down the road as I play drums. I'm looking for something, like smaller speakers out the same power as my stage speaks. Just needing a back up in case my heads blow or something I can carry without using a wheely to move.
