While I have not finished daughter of smoke and bone, I do heavily reccomend her other series, Strange the Dreamer. Both books in that series are my favorite books of all time. Lani Taylor's wrting is really beautiful. I love the charecters and the world. I also really enjoyed the plot. The pacing is somewhat slow and the romance is instalove but the rest of the book makes up for it.
