Well just checking in with Montana Fish Wildlife and parks it is 100% legal to have a rangefinder in scope/batteries in scope, the crosshairs just cant have infrared or protrudelight

Your the man Trent. Nobody more giving of themselves and deserving than you. All that experience and you still get flustered, oh you gotta love it people. Your comment about it being a buck was great. Reminds me of a scene on THP when Grant and Zach were looking back on a situation when a buck got spooked and Grant said, "I think it was a car, with an engine I think" 🤣 God bless all of you boys for great content and a blessing on us all.

Congratulations Trent on a rather nice buck. One that many of us think of when picturing a good classic mule deer 🦌. The mainly elk guys of BRO have been expanding and enjoying good success deer hunting and waterfowl hunting. Montana truly is the land of opportunity. That was almost like a pronghorn hunt in the snow.

Just out of curiosity, you said Casey shot his deer on some state land adjacent to the field you are driving by, and I also assume Bryan shot his there(as that deer lived in that field all fall, i have live photos of him). My question is how did you access the piece of state land? There is no public access to it unless you cross private land, it's close but about 50ft beyond the public right of way.

Hi guys, I love the content, I've literally watched 100's of your videos, but I think we've reached a point where KZbin hunters need to stop naming locations. I expect a bunch of morons to rape Montana next year, and this isn't fair to some local Montana hunter. (I'm in MN so this doesn't affect me) I was in Colorado area 161 and found out that B&R had been to the basin I was going to a few years prior, and it was absolutely packed...AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN NAME IT, there was just a trail sign in a video!!! Not only that, but the style you hunt with works great if you're the first person in that area once it turns on, but Colorado elk are almost silent now. We need people to do their own research, and stop aimlessly going to where KZbin hunters go. I love the enthusiasm in the hunting community, but it needs to spread out a little more. Get involved, the knowledge will come with time, we don't need to be telling people about walk in access programs and block management.
@derekfan1683 жыл бұрын
I think telling people about accessing public is great but some of what you said I agree with like people going to a state because a KZbinr went there. I love Montana and I’d hate to see the hunting quality go down.
@davidrobert8203 жыл бұрын
@@derekfan168 block management isn't public

The same # of tags are allocated per unit in CO regardless, but for "general" tags in MT you do have a valid point if specifics are given.
@davidrobert8203 жыл бұрын
@@Randy_Savage_ohyeah there is no number allocated for OTC units in Colorado, 161 is OTC, as is most of Colorado
@davidrobert8203 жыл бұрын
I am referring to elk when I mentioned Colorado, maybe you're referring to mule deer, which may be why I'm confused
