My only complaint is why Shanahan would elect to pass at the 2 yard line and not run the ball when JP is averaging 5 yards carry. It seems like these coaches even Harbaugh did the same mistake in the Super Bowl.

Aiyuk was open a lot actually, the oline collapsed too fast to get him the ball much. I thought he did badly too until I saw a breakdown of the film.

Only the second game and Damon wants to fire everyone. If special teams are a constant problem maybe it's the special teams' coaches' fault not getting his players ready for all situations. Vikings OC outcoached the 49ers inexperienced DC- this was his second game. Going to have to live with Sorenson's growing pains, or switch to Staley as DC. If I remember right, Staley never ran the wide-9, so might be repeating the same mistake as hiring Wilks to run the SF defense.
