Please please could you bring back David as a guest he was so good it would be so nice to see him again and for him to see how far you guys have come in such a short time you guys got me back into flying again as I lost faith when I pile driver mine into the ground and destroyed it completely with foam it's so easy to rebuild a super cool idea and it works so well.all the best john from rugby UK.

I love seeing these old projects in this condensed manner with you reminiscing about what was going on in that time. I hope there will be more to follow. As a relatively new subscriber (probably for the last 200 - 400 vids or so), I was always intimidated by the sheer amount of vids you already had. And with these videos, I am able to follow you around, back in time, and see these crazy projects with some background information.

I have a question... With the CG being so important why hasn't anyone created an adjustable CG... I'm imagining a long threaded (carbon fiber, vinyl, or neoprene) rid spanning the length of where you may need to adjust it. On a reversable motor that turns the shaft and moved a heavy threaded "nut" or weight and moves it to and fro... hence adjustable CG... Name it after me lol...

Hey guys, I hope I can explain this right. Totally unrelated topic but I have an Immersion 180 Vortex. I’m ok as a “line of site” flyer but am still learning. I’m trying to better control my throttle, orientation and overall smoothness. In saying this, the 180 is still too fast for my comfort zone and need to down the speed. I’m basically trying to turn it in to a beginner’s quad, to be more docile. It flies a custom XNova 1407-3500kV motors and 4 inch props using a 3s 850 mAh- 45c battery. I've heard of Throttle or Motor Scaling. I think it's also called "throttle cap" I'm using a Spektrum DX8 and wondering if that's possible. Do you have any suggestions? I appreciate any help in this matter, thanks, Steve P.S. Bring back the Bat Bone.

Was a real fan of Davids; I do not know why he left, nor why what little he has produced since doesn't mention Flite Test, and this was one of the few times you've mentioned him. What happened to Dave? His creativity and humor, the many colored "hand jive" pointers he used to indicate attention points: Josh, Guys, you are all great in a special way, but I miss David- What did happen? BTW, it's been 11 months since he last downloaded for YT- I don't do the social media thing, period. I was probably an "unsolicited" beta tester for the "Internet Research" Bureau" in Moscow in '11, so I have "left that building" and have no desire to return. But I would much like to hear David OK and fizzing and starting in Svedish at some new idea! Rebuilding most of them, taking advantage of your more recent material and skills, ought to be awesome- comparos vs the OB's (original builds), maybe have some of Flite Test's many "past brothers" in as guests for specific projects?

Great to see these 'highlights' again. I remember quite a few! I feel these less slick projects had -and still have- an extra element to them for me. Ironing out the wrinkles over the years may give a smooth result; It also takes out the personal, idiosyncratic, and uniqueness of self-builds!! That's why I don't like buying planes so much... I want to fly something I built, even if it sometimes flies like a breezeblock or is built using one! Hence I refer to my planes as being from 'garbage airlines'; Since the trash bin is a great source of materials and inspiration. Keep up the good work! Stay safe & healthy. Willem.

This works for me, but I am an old guy who likes to remember past events. No doubt you guys could redo more than a few dozen projects, going bigger, smaller, or something odd and inbetween. I would encourage remakes with improvements most newer RC builder/pilots could mimic without needing a bank loan. What about recycling RC parts projects that won't hurt all that much for those still suffering from a lack of income? Maybe some trash recycling builds?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the green dragon..... flying vehicle from Ninjago is actually air worthy? This is a poor representation with it moving like a mythical dragon and what not, at 33:30 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZKTiKVjhrxkmNE but I found the idea of each dragon "scale" acting like a surface very interesting and might offer interesting maneuver capabilities..... assuming the thing can actually fly, and if it does control would be a total nightmare.
