Extremely rare in the wild, the albino Corsair lacks the naval camouflage of its brethren. This is a distinct disadvantage and makes it survival to it current size extraordinary. I feel very fortunate to have seen this.

My dad was WWII SW Pacific theater veteran, and he would have loved seeing this Corsair fly. Back in 1967 he help me make a 1/48 scale Corsair model, and I still have it. This, and your Zero videos are two of my favorites. I had an uncle who was a pilot in the Imperial Japanese Navy. In fact he and my dad fought on opposite sides in the Philippines at the very same battle Lingayen Gulf. I'm looking forward to seeing the Zero, and the Corsair in a dogfight. Wish my dad and uncle could see it too. Keep up the great work.

Just been catching up with the FT videos and that Corsair looks stunning. Can't wait to see it painted up. Hearing Noah talk about the presence it had in the air made me wonder, has anyone ever done an AVRO Vulcan yet, especially in a monster size? Whether it be with EDFs or props, I bet that would very definitely have some presence!

Thank you for reproducing the greatest propeller-driven aircraft in world history. Ya, I love the F4U Corsair. I am 57 and I have dreamed of flying one or in one my entire life. Take the time to read her life history and you too will love her. I told my wife, years ago, that if I ever get the funds I want to build a replica full scale working F4U and learn to fly it. She said ok but she wants a Jaguar. Anyway, thank you. I loved the video.

The beam is calculated by second moment of area. This relates to the depth of the beam not the thickness of wood to make it from. This means you can be quite thin but have the bending strength. The only other loading would be the backward bending force when in a dive.
