Extremely important philosophy said here. Always no that you are the person saying yes or no. What is important, not to always to be right, but to command choices. And then alter, when you chose to go left, but actually right movement works better. Do left, and do right. Don't just do left and think left is how if works in you mind. The audience might respond emotionally better if the movement went right. But you'll be safe in the edit if you shot both "up" and "down" dailies.

"plan but be open" Excellent advise but there is the possibility of errors. Long story short: i did that but the actors weren't ready for something like this and i ended throwing away 25% of the shots.
