Agreed, I see it a lot when brands get bought by other larger brands. Charlotte Tilbury quality has gone down since they were acquired by Puig a few years ago. Chanel changed their mouse bronzer ingredients to cheaper ones and it was my favorite before, now it’s terrible.

I thought of you last weekend because we had a Dior VIP appointment at Crystals in Las Vegas. We haven’t been on a trip since the beginning of 2020 so it was such an experience. I went completely wild in there an bought so many incredible pieces. I saw almost the same exotic bag but it was a darker blue, just stunning. I wanted it so badly but I couldn’t afford it after my wild spending in there. I can’t wait to do some shopping in London when we’re there at the end of the year. The new Lancôme teinte idole ultra wear care & glow is really nice!!! I stopped wearing foundation years ago because they were always caked and heavy or didn’t cover anything but this new Lancôme one is lightweight but has good coverage and looks natural!

Sophie they usually have a department with leftover stock. So if you email Charlotte Tilsbury they might be able to help. Happened with me with a lipstick that was discontinued from Estée Lauder. I managed to get some of the old stock from them. Hope that helps

I tried the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation but I have to say it ran out pretty quickly. I switched to the Nars light reflecting foundation. Chantecaille future skin is another good option. I’ve been enjoying lightweight to medium coverage these days. The CT wonder glow is a good substitute for foundation.

Have you looked on eBay for your Charlotte Tilbury foundation? I have found heaps of discontinued makeup items there. You pay extra for them but if it’s something you really love then it’s worth it.

That’s a great idea, thank you Suzanne! It’s the Magic Foundation they’ve stopped. It was Demi matte and they’ve replaced it with a dewy one that doesn’t dry and is meant to give you shine all day. I personally just don’t get on with sticky foundations. It’s such a shame!😕 Hugs xx

I don't like the Fendi on the Ground Floor, as feel like I get 'jumped on' by SAs when I just want to look.... because the way it's such a long and thin area means that just to look at the bags, since they're mostly behind the counter, you end up also looking at the SAs... who probably then feel obliged to jump into a sales pitch... 🤣

Love this video and would love to hear more about the electric GP. I am just back from popping into Harrods myself because I think there is going to be a price rise at LV and Fendi in September. Those Prada bags are lovely and I love the full long Dior skirt. I am excited about the Tweed Chanel eye-shadows and asked when they will be in. The SA advised that Harrods are doing a big party style event on the 2nd and 3rd of September to launch the Tweed make-up collection that you can pre-book which sounds really fun. I hear that the MAC radiant sheer face and body foundation is good. My favourite all rounder is Surratt dew drop foundation (often goes on sale at Liberty).
