So I’m looking at getting a 30x50 because my barn went down 2 days ago. Bad wind…. I’m in Kentucky. Are you all pretty booked up for installations?
@bigbuildingsdirect Жыл бұрын
Can do!

I had a slab poured for a 30x30 metal building. The front edge of the stub has a gap that is not level. Will they still be able to install an Anchor down the building with uneven edges.
@bigbuildingsdirect7 ай бұрын
You need it completely level and square for a certified install!

Is it possible to pour concrete after building installation? Thanks for the time.

Yes definitely

@@bigbuildingsdirect would this effect the certification or integrity doing concrete after the fact?
@bigbuildingsdirect Жыл бұрын
@@abuck2844 would all depend on the anchoring system used. We can certify up to 140mph on ground

I would add. - Climate control, both heating and cooling. - Foam the floor no matter what your going to use the building for. - Floor drains. - Bathroom if you going to work from this building. - Think of this as an investment that will add value to the property and later at resale. I just put up a 14' x 28' if I told you what I spent you would drop over, I'm a journeyman electrician by trade and a DIY so I had very little out of pocket for hired help.

My biggest takeaway from this video. Is even a BBD specialist cannot wholeheartedly plan for everything. That's why he has an outbuilding already. I guess the general rule is if you build it you'll fill it eventually.....
@bigbuildingsdirect Жыл бұрын
Not only fill it, but need 1 or 2 more buildings! Need it twice the size…
@paulpryor850 Жыл бұрын
Yep! I know all too well building a two story 60' x 120' structure. The more room you have leads to buying stuff to fill it.......

I'm confused. You're with BBD? and I am assuming have advised many other people about your buildings and you made all these "mistakes"???? Even with admitting these regrets,[thanks for that] I'm afraid, at least in my mind, this puts your business in a poor "light" as to advising potential buyers.

It has been a 3 year process and I am honest about how changes in my life have affected how my building is used now as opposed to 3 years ago. Things I’ve bought, people I’ve hired to do the loft. The good the bad and the ugly. I’d much rather be honest with customers that my life and use of building has changed then lie to my customers and say “don’t think about these things”.
