He was never even a pro bowler and then in year 8, at the age of 29 leads all of the NFL in receiving yards… and then never got close to that again. He definitely fits.

Brandon Lloyd used to make some of the craziest catches. Gordon & Blackmon would’ve been as dominant as AB & Julio in that same era had they not gotten in trouble.

Josh Gordon is probably the biggest "what if" at reciver of this generation Dude had all the talent in the world and still produced insane numbers with terrible QBs , shame he couldn't beat his demons with addiction man.... i hope the best for him i know how it is dealing with that

@@Gmoney2416 I mean dude got suspended multiple times for popping for weed and couldn’t stop I’d call that addiction and nevertheless whether u agree with it or not that was the policy it’s the same as what happened with shacarri Richardson they both knew weed was outlawed under substance abuse and still tried to sneak through. You can’t break the rules and expect no consequences.

Watch Pryor's state championship game in highschool. Dude was a beast. If I remember right Jeanette won state in football and basketball that year with him crushing both. Shame it didn't work out in the NFL.

Sidney Rice busted up his knee and played through it. He was never the same after his surgery, probably because of nerve damage or some sort of other irreparable damage. He was out of the league before he was 30.

@michaelruth4896 so did Josh Gordon. In fact, if you look at Josh Gordon and Edwards stats, they both have a similar number of yrs w/ some ok seasons. 700+ yds, maybe 4 or 5 TD. Edwards was a bit better on some of these, but I'm sorry, Edwards was just as volatile as any guy on this list after his 2nd season and it was an INSANE drop off from his best yr to the next yr. Anyone playing fantasy football for a while remembers drafting him high that next yr and then basically nobody ever drafted him again.
