The number one project should be a new hospital.. with a central sanitized air system.. QEH is a eyesore.. I went there to visit a friend and I thought I was in a third world facility.. all these plans for new and improved should start with our health care.. now that we are in an established category our hospital should be too.. build a new hospital and use the current hospital as an outpatient and rehabilitation clinic.. test laboratories.. this current hospital has too many openings which all sorts of insects.. birds.. contaminated flies and viruses enter through.. I saw a bird eating a patients food.. which is a cause for all sorts of infections.. some of the beds are so rusty.. the floor tiles around the hospital are atrocious.. missing tiles replaced with odd looking tiles.. the staircases.. which some stairs are missing metal boarders at the front.. so I feel with all these millions to facilitate visitors.. we should take care of the most important facility to our own people.. stay blessed 🙏🏾🥰❤️

Is this fake news? Yes, I agree that hospital, and health care must and should be the priority project for the island. All the projects named envisage human activity. Humans fall ill, and will need health facilities for serving, and treating their ailments. The fact that there is the repetitive mispronunciation of the island's name " BarBAdos" suggest that the video may be "artificial."

I certainly like the innovative ideas and the modernization of the island, with all the "major" projects that are being untaken, but the FIRST MAJOR PROJECT should be the rehabilitation of our HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. REVITALIZATION snd RENOVATION of the ONLY Government hospital on the island should be first and foremost of the utmost importance. Also, an additional hospital on the north of the island would help alleviate some of the issues at the QEH...which by the way need not only a face lift but a renaming. Barbados only "natural" resource is its people, please put their health care needs first and let the other projects follow.

The biggest and most important project in Barbados should be a new Rhianna community Hospital.... That QEH as someone said should be outpatient clinic, rehabilitation. People shouldn't be waiting months for xrays, ct scan, MRIs while their health deteriorates. People with fractures and breaks in their skeletal system shouldn't have to wait 6mths to have surgery... never know if they'll be able to walk again.....An over hall of the health care system is a million percent the most important . We know the rich fly out to USA, Canada for care while the poor waste away.

Well Barbados had a railway system back then but destroyed because of housing roads etc instead of keeping things efficient

All of the Capital Works to be done (not these projects, they don't belong to Barbados), that the private enterprises shall not use their money towards, must be financed by our disposable incomes, rather than have Assets bring in that finance for us ?????

Light Rail (Tram) system wouldn’t work here. The road network isn’t good enough. They should look into an underground (Metro) system with stations in places like Bridgetown, Warrens, Skymall, Sheraton, Oval, Holetown etc.

And all Barbados gets is Rent, and 0.0000000 whatever, which is nothing. It is really not a P3 Development because the Port is leased out.
@brucecanmore378811 ай бұрын
My point is that most of the capital is offshore. Return on investment is entitled to the investor. Meanwhile critical infrastructure under the stewardship of the republic is failing. The video should include some indication of funding source for the mega projects. The thumbnail implies Government (Barbados) credit. I am interested to learn the airport delivery model if it is not a P3 agreement.

They are never seen at any Bajan festivities like the Independence Day Celebrations, Crop Over etc. They don't use public transportation or are ever seen associating with black bajans. We live in a Peaceful Loving country and you lot invade it trying to lower it's standards killing and mugging our tourist and making it look like Barbadian Crimes. Leave Barbados alone and clean up your own messy country. All Barbadians are one regardless of colour of skin which is unimportant to us. Colour or Religion is not a problem to us. We Are One.

How you assume Barbados is racist just because the small population of white people doesn't attend any events going on, that does not make them racist, you can walk freely and go places without a racist incident, if they don't ride the bus, they drive their own car. Some black people don't attend either nor ride the bus, they drive. You do not know what racist mean. You don't see them attacking each other, nor using racial slurs. Example like the Karen's and the Ken's here in the US, they lived peaceful.
