Brad, I live on the east coast and I work full time. I would love to come out west for a meet up game but is there anyway you can give me a 6 week or more heads up with the date? That way I can take off work and get plane tickets and stuff like that. Love the blogs, keep up the good work for those of us that grind vicariously through you. 😂

Take yourself to Dover downs , 50 hours of play equals 400 dollar rake back every week, or go to Pennsylvania parx or sugar house or ac, Maryland harbor, there is a lot of good games and cash , Vegas is good for vices, nothing else.

I'm a recreational $2-5 player at The Borgata in AC, I learned over the weekend, they are beginning the practice of running the board twice on ALL-INs. I saw this scenario coe up on this video. What's your philosophy on this? My feeling is, if I go ALL-IN, I just want to run it once, and live with the results. Does having a flush draw, or a set factor into this decision?

Yo y r u such a gangster lol!!! Just started playing for about a year and I extremely enjoy ur videos man!!! Trying to get into the lifestyle myself.... I'm not nearly as good as u but I will say I think I got a grip on this game. I love watching ur videos because we have completely different strategies on the game. But it comes to mind sometimes when I'm in a tough hand and I have to think what would brad do??? Most of the time I don't do what u do because I'm scared or don't feel like it's the right play? But ur videos help me improve my game, mostly to that aggressive play. So thanks man and keep up the good work!!!

Great vlog Brad. Question, not so much now, but back a few years when you were really working on your game to get to the point you are now, what off the felt training/ learning/ exercise/ course, did you find to be the most beneficial? I knw a lot of pros at your level keep fresh with text groups & talking about hands. Just wondering what helped you or what you found most enjoyable.

Would you mind going into detail about why you show in certain spots versus not showing in others.... For example you showed in the flopped set of 7s pot that the guy folded and I just wanted to know your reasoning and mindset behind this decision.... Thanks!
@BradOwenPoker6 жыл бұрын
It just depends. I think there's a big stigma against showing. I personally believe it matters very little. If I thought it made a big difference I wouldn't hold Meet Up Games with people who watch this vlog.
@גיארשינסקי6 жыл бұрын
hi brad, nice vlog, keep up the good work why didn't you open the A7dd on the button to isolate aftet the HJ limped ? also, as played dont you think that checking back the turn might be better then betting ? i mean, when the sb lead into 3 people on the flop he can easly have kx that can plan to check call the turn after the 6 hits and he get call by you and the HJ. HJ, for the same reason can go for check with the kx (although he shouldn't have to many strong ones beacuse he didn't open pre flop). so, i rather try and go to showdown with my pair of 7 and flash draw and not trying turning it to semi bluff and denying equity from my opponents(which i think is good but not with this specific hand). i prefer to semi bluff with hands that have no showdown value like open ended straight draw or gutshot with a flash draw to balance it with my value range. also. nice comeback !

#BradOwen What is the deal with the Casino not wanting people to record their live poker hands? Bay 101 has Televised Tournaments... I don't get it... I understand not letting you film the Cage or Security placements, but the hands????
@JK-wf2sq6 жыл бұрын
Herbert Clark It's an invasion of other players privacy. Would you want to sit next to a fool constantly playing with and adjusting their phone? Just take notes and use cool graphics later if you want to make vids about your sessions.
@liquidationkingla57066 жыл бұрын
#JK I don't know if you haven't been to a Poker Room in awhile... But everyone in the medium limits is on their device... Some are watching movies, reading books online, checking stats on the hand they are playing... In most cases no one ever records people's faces... But what are you trying to hide... The Casino has a thousand cameras on the players anyway... People are taking pictures of the card room from the standing areas all around you... That is the nature of the beast: you are in a place open to the public... In fact if the Casino didn't have a problem and you did as a player, your only option would be to leave; the casino doesn't and will not change it's policy for a player... (Worked in the Gaming Industry for years, was a player for almost 30 years)... You wave your right to privacy when you walk in, because you are on private property.... Try an experiment: Ask a Card Room to not record you while you play the game and see what they say...
@JK-wf2sq6 жыл бұрын
Cool.

Why would anyone think it's okay to record in a casino, let alone whilst playing poker?
