Hi Michael and Richard! The figure on the milk glass trinket dish/pomade is Jenny Lind, who was a swedish opera singer who lived in the 1800's. She was nicknamed the "Swedish Nightingale." I'm so glad that you're showing interest in the older glass!

My fav were the Punch and Judy door stops and second was the yellow glass covered dish with the faces on the stem and finial third the LG Wright glass bowl. Blue goodness!

I believe the 1914 tumbler was made as a memorial piece in the Austro-Hungarian empire for the assassination of the archduke of Austria ,which happened in 1914. Which was the impetus for the start of WW I. I have many piece that match the ABP cut glass rose pattern creamer and sugar. Probably cut by the Feeney & McKanna Cut Glass Company .

Is the 3 faces covered compote a children's piece? The rough tops on the shakers means they are older because they don't have a ground top, but have the natural edge from where they "tapped/broke" it off from the blow pipe.
