On July 10, 2022, Wisconsin State Troopers and several surrounding counties were in pursuit of an Illinois vehicle near Eau Claire, WI. Throughout the chase, the suspect vehicle traveled in excess of 110 mph while shutting off its headlights to hide from law enforcement. The suspect eventually turned down a dead-end road and ultimately surrendered. After being taken into custody, they completely regretted fleeing.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. Today’s world is swarmed with politics and conversations that are often misleading about our law enforcement officers. We feel it is vastly significant and imperative to show these interactions in their respective environments to inform and educate the overall public.

95% of the time, the reason why people (like him) resist arrest and/or flee from police is because they have prior records and are afraid of going to jail, such as if it’s a repeat offense or parole violation. I can guarantee you that this was the case here. There’s no other reason in the world to flee from them or fight them, though they will lie and claim they felt “scared” or threatened.

I’ve heard and seen it almost every time I watch a video (especially those from Wisconsin). They love to fail escaping the police, while simultaneously trashing the Dodge Charger their driving. It’s become ridiculous! If the person doesn’t have a license, they shouldn’t get the vehicle or the keys until they have one. Someone who’s name is on the loan or the registration should have to have a valid DL.

He has more sense than most of the people I've seen in police footage videos. "Shoulda listened to my folks." "Why did I do this to myself?" "I'm still a kid in mind." There needs to be a nationwide mentorship program that courts could put people in. It seems that what most people that end up in court need is mentorship and therapy. (A program where mentors are paid and that has a STRICT vetting process. I think if it's paid there would actually be people willing to step up and inspire those cycling through the court system).

Apparently he doesn’t have too much sense considering he didn’t show up to court. That’s another arrest and he’ll probably attempt fleeing from that too. Most people do come to realization of how stupid their actions are AFTER they’ve been caught, but the smart ones realize there is no need to do that in the first place and drive away with their citation OR don’t speed to begin with. No partial credit given here, he gets an F.

I legitimately love this video, and I'm legitimately saddened by his death. The talking, the chase, the teamwork and professionalism, the bro moment when they knew they were safe, biggest, the fucking discussion at the end. The way they spoke with him legitimately sounded like ot was coming from an extremely disappointed friend, and I think that it what him self-actualize rather than he all pissed off and aggressive.... He literally came out and said he was scared, he knew his actions were wrong, he admitted that he believed there would have been a race element, and then legitimately regretted his actions. RIP.

@@acloserlook5823My man, there was no reason for him to manipulate the police that took him in during this situation: the weren't the ones responsible for how much time he served and, with them, he was beyond the point where he could even mildly change minds about how wrong his actions were; he was simply in a state where he could do nothing but look back on his actions and be saddened and remorseful by what he had done. Honestly? I can understand why you'd feel the way you do, because until you've made a huge mistake and looked back on it in this way, you'll be as black and white as you are right now. I'm sure criminal psychology already has a term for it: regret.

When I was young, I got pulled over for having tinted windows that were too dark (it was my sister's car). At the time I didn't have a license. The cop realized this entire thing turned from a simple ticket for a dubious tinted window charge, to driving without a license what undoubtedly would've suspended any possible use of my license for 5-10+ years. So because I was up-front about it, he told me to pull in to a CVS parking lot, shut off my car, and wait for someone else to come pick up my car. He wrote me a $300 ticket, which I promptly paid, and it didn't go on my record. That is one of a few times a cop could've legally messed me up (justifiably), but he just chose not to do that and was a good guy. Immediately after the incident, I got my driver's license, and I've only ever been pulled over for having a late payment on my registration or whatever. The longer I live, the more I appreciate how that one cop chose not to drill my ass and ruin my life (even though I deserved it). My point is: THIS guy is what would've happened if I decided to be an idiot and try to run away from the cop. If you have nothing to hide (especially for some petty license or whatever charge), then just comply and deal with it. Next time try not to be so stupid.

4 months after this, he was murdered in his car. I'm assuming by the person he was trafficking for or someone who worked for them. He obviously tossed whatever he was transporting during the chase, and I'm guessing he was killed for losing the shipment/money. That's why he kept screaming about not having anything in the car or on him. And he had no warrants, so why would he run cuz of a simple speeding ticket unless he was doing something serious, like trafficking? Also explains why he was driving so fast AND with his lights off.

A $1,000 cash bond for putting so many lives at risk? The people of Wisconsin should be really proud of their justice system.

I was thinking the same thing. This is how things should be done, not with 5 different officers all yelling for a suspect to do contradictory things. One person giving instructions to the suspect, and clearly letting the other officers know when someone else was going to take over

I love how the criminals have that aesthetic. It adds an extra layer of difficulty when they decide to conceal a weapon.
